Rockhound startled to find he's being observed
The witness was looking for rocks in a forested area in the early morning and returned to the parked car to find the windshield wipers flipped outward. The witness then noticed a dark crouched mass at the tree line first taken for a bear. After getting into the car and slamming the door, the witness saw the figure stand about 7-8 feet tall and run away over a rock mound, then drove away.
Memory told of being chased on a farm near Ava
The witness and a companion carried makeshift torches toward the woods at dusk but turned back at the tree line. A large grey figure rushed toward them from the woods, prompting them to flee to the house. After waiting inside, they saw a large grey ape-like creature squatting in the field watching them, then retreated again. Overnight they heard commotion, and next morning found shredded torches, a belt torn with teeth marks, and dents in a parked car.
Unusual incident... a horseback rider's close encounter
The witness was riding a horse on a wooded dirt road at dusk when the horse became agitated. After hearing rustling and a loud scream, the witness saw eyes and then a large upright creature that lunged out and seized the saddle. Face to face with the creature, the witness clung to the horse's neck as it bolted without looking back. The saddle was later described as torn with deep gouges.
