Nightime sighting on SR 78 near Woodsfield
The witnesses were riding around in heavy snow late at night when they saw a large gray creature cross the road about 200 yards away. Its head appeared to clear an 8-foot road sign. Afterwards they found very large three-toed tracks in the snow coming down a steep bank and continuing across the highway with a long stride.
Sasquatch sighting in Oregon (1994)
The second guest says in the mid-1990s while on an eight-night solo hike in southern Oregon he camped at a ridge divide and found a large bare footprint and smeared scuffle-like prints. After dark something black moved in an amphitheater about 75 to 100 feet away, drank at a pond for a minute or more on all fours, then circled his camp bipedally and stared at him with icy gray eyes before leaving. He did not use his flashlight and felt the being warned him not to.

While visiting family property, the witness and her partner found a very large human-shaped scat pile containing fruit pits. Later that evening while bathing alone, she saw a head with eyes watching her through a small high window and spoke to it thinking it was her partner. The next day no chair or woodpile was found that could explain someone seeing in, as the window was seven to eight feet off the ground.

The guest and a friend were turkey hunting in Indiana and followed feathers uphill. Both felt watched and found trees laid down to form a funnel that felt like an ambush. They then heard a faint child-like cry twice from the direction they were being led and left quickly.
Odor near Pike County (1994)
For six to eight months an elderly farmer and his wife reported nightly tapping that followed them room to room, shadows outside windows, a barn door torn open, missing dog food and missing outdoor dogs, and a low voice whispering the indoor dog's name. The responding deputy initially suspected neighbors, moonshiners or a grow operation, but later found a large hand-like dent in the house and an 18-inch footprint in the creek that he cast. The cast was later reported to show dermal ridges and to be considered authentic east of the Mississippi.

At night they heard wolf-like howls and the next day on a desert trail they found crossed dead trees, heard loud animal cries, and watched a distant reddish hair-covered figure standing and slamming backward into a tree, which they first took for a bear. A ranger insisted there were no wolves or bears in the area. On the second night rustling around the tent and sudden overwhelming fear caused them to abandon camp and drive home in the early morning.

While deer hunting alone in a snow-covered valley in 1993, the witness heard a deep repeated belch-like sound approach rapidly to the ridge above him. At dusk the sound stopped and something unseen in the treeline broke branches and moved back and forth for about ten minutes while the witness waited with a rifle. The witness then hiked out to his father, who said he had also heard the distant sound, and the party left for the vehicle.

Several months after Hurricane Andrew, the witness and companions were hog hunting from swamp buggies near Big Cypress. Around 6 a.m. in dim light the witness was inside her unfinished home when her two outside dogs barked toward the creek crossing on the driveway then ran back to the porch frightened. When it seemed to notice her it stepped behind the tree, and when she glanced away to call her husband it was gone. Two companions were camping in remote steep woods while digging ginseng when they were awakened late at night by loud howls, screams, growls and chattering. Something shook trees and threw large rocks and small sapling trees into their camp for hours, retreating when the fire was built up and returning as it died down. At daylight they found saplings broken off and uprooted around camp and hiked out to the road.

The witness approached and found a crouched hairy animal that then stood upright on two feet and ran into the woods, knocking down trees amid screaming. Two companions walking a hillside trail at night heard a loud snap and saw two large bipedal figures silhouetted against city lights. After one companion shouted, a second shorter figure stood up beside the taller slumped figure, and both fled on two legs crashing through small trees. The witnesses estimated the taller figure at 7.5 to 8 feet tall, hid at the fire tower overnight, and noted broken limbs and a sweet unpleasant odor in the area the next morning.

The witness was camped alone at the intersection of four logging roads in Northern California, tending a campfire late at night. He became aware of a pair of reflective eyes watching him from behind a bush about 70 feet away and watched them for over an hour as the fire died down until they disappeared. In the morning he found large foot-shaped flattened grass impressions leading to and from the spot behind the bush.
