On-going encounters makes rural family cautious
In June 2001 the witness's children discovered large footprints in the field behind the family mobile home and photographed them. About a week later the children heard something running across the hillside while playing at the creek, and the family dog chased it and later returned covered in slime. The children later encountered large rocks rolling toward them on the hill, and the witness heard a loud prolonged growl, with a horrible unidentified odor lingering after the hillside activity.

The witness went to the clearing and made loud calls, then heard a howl turn into a roar approaching for about 40 minutes. Two or three unseen individuals roared, knocked, broke a treetop, circled, bluff-charged the tree stand, and growled close behind him with strong physical effects and a perceived mental threat. He fled to his truck, found his dog hiding, got briefly stuck while turning around, heard pursuit downhill, and drove to a mill and bars seeking a witness.
Two boys find footprints on Harris River bank
Two cousins walking along a riverbank saw what the cousin thought was something standing about 100 feet ahead. The writer could not see it clearly without glasses, and the cousin then dismissed it as a stump. Going to the spot, they found three large human-like footprints in the sand, then left for a family picnic area.
Man see large prints outside of Long Barn
A witness hiking on snowshoes along a gated forest road in fresh snow found six large prints crossing the road. He photographed the prints and measured them with a ski pole, noting a straight-line trackway with a long stride and no other footprints nearby. He did not leave the road to follow the trail, and the prints were melting rapidly when he passed again about an hour later.
Father and daughter observe unusual tracks
The witness and her father were hiking back toward Kennedy Meadows Campground after crossing the river upstream when the witness noticed unusual barefoot-like prints in the forest between the river and the Pacific Crest Trail. Both examined the prints, described as large, flat, five-toed and human-like. They could not age the prints precisely but thought they were made after rain five days earlier and within the last day or two.
Possible track find on outing
The witness was camping in the White Mountains in March 2001 and found large bipedal prints in deep snow with an ice crust off a snowmobile trail. The prints were described as much larger than a boot print, without human tread, breaking through ice layers that supported the witness. The witness did not follow the tracks and did not see the maker.

While driving along a ridge road for field work, the witness noticed large bipedal footprints crossing the road and stopped to examine them. The witness counted about 20 clear prints with a long stride and recorded them on video before leaving. The witness returned the following day and located additional, more weathered prints across the road.
Big tracks with huge stride found
A family of five driving between Grand Prairie and Tumbler Ridge stopped on Boot Lake Road and found large barefoot human-like footprints in snow in a roadside ditch. About eight prints were clear, with a ninth leading into brush where willows were bent and broken. They estimated the size and stride but did not follow or photograph them because the children were frightened.

Investigators found fresh broken trees, dozens of footprints and two nests where a trail crossed a road and staked out the spot. No creature was seen, but something large moving on two feet approached the stakeout before fleeing downhill through brush when a car passed. The sign was documented the next day with footprint and tree-break measurements and a body-length impression in one nest.
Hikers make track find on Table Rock Creek, Oregon
On March 18, 2001, two brothers hiking near Table Rock Wilderness found large bare-foot-like prints in snow that were larger and deeper than their own boot prints. They photographed the prints with a dollar bill for scale and estimated a 4-foot stride. No animal was seen, and a search of other prints found no hair.
Hunter catches glimpse of biped on snowy road
The driver was traveling at night in light snow with a young child passenger when headlights revealed a large upright figure near the road. The figure moved downhill on two legs with long strides and a large upper body, which the driver felt differed from a bear. The driver stopped where the figure left the road and noticed smeared tracks in mud and snow leading downhill but did not follow them. The driver later said he believed the figure was likely a bigfoot.

While mountain biking near a creek, the witness stopped for a break and noticed bare footprints following the creek edge in soft mud. The prints showed no arch and had a wrinkled texture, which seemed odd in February cold. After later reading about a nearby sighting, the witness filed this report.
Large creature crosses road in 1 1/2 strides
The witness and a companion were driving at night toward Pagosa Springs after watching a boxing match. About 20 yards ahead a creature crossed the county road quickly in front of them. They stopped where it crossed and saw footprints in snow on the road before driving away fast.
ATV'ers find footprints near Pt.Pleasant
While riding ATVs on private property, the witness group stopped to eat near a creek. The witness noticed several large human-like footprints beside where she sat, including one much larger than a companion's boot. The prints led toward the creek and the stride between them was too long for her to match. No camera was available to document the tracks.
Multiple observations over three year span
The witness and his wife snowshoed into their wooded farm property in winter and found two sets of large human-shaped footprints in snow. The prints were old and melted, about 15-16 inches long with about a 52-inch step, extending over 200 yards and separating then rejoining. The witness compared the alternating left-right stride to his own stride and to leaping deer tracks, concluding the stride was too long for a human and the shape differed from deer.
Footprints found in snow seen by several witnesses
The witness was called outside in January to look at large footprints in melting snow. The human-like prints with distinct toes encircled the property and overlaid the witness's own earlier footprints in the woods. The prints were described as 15 to 18 inches long with about a 3-foot stride.
Sighting of 8-foot tall, upright creature
The witness reports being at the top of a hill in a pine forest after dark while a companion was below. A very hairy creature about 8 feet tall walked in a nearly human manner while making grunting noises, noticed the witness, then left. The witness reports photographing footprints left in mud.

On the afternoon of January 5th 2001 the witness found several footprints on the edge of Yellow House Canyon near Lubbock, Texas, where the ground was flat with little vegetation and fresh snow. The witness took several photographs of the footprints. Four or five people were reported to have seen the tracks and photographs.

Two companions shoveling snow noticed barefoot-like prints and followed them into the woods. They watched two large greyish furry figures, one pounding and shaking a thin tree and the other digging in snow, while noticing a foul odor. The creatures vocalized and ran off when they noticed the witnesses, who briefly tried to follow before giving up.
