The figure walked across a trail, paused by a fir tree and looked toward the group, then continued into an adjacent field. The group went to the spot, found flattened brush and a bent-grass trail, estimated the figure's height against the tree, took photos, and then heard knocking beats and hooting sounds after birds flushed and dogs barked in the distance.

On the second evening the witness walked a sandy horse trail about a half mile from an earlier brush trail. The group took burst photos toward the sounds and then left the area. A solo camper spent the night on a plateau west of Bragg Creek during rain and thunderstorms. Through the night the camper heard log-banging, close movement, breathing, branch breaking, a tarp strike, a grunt, a boulder throw and a tree being pushed over, and glimpsed an upright figure walking downhill toward a creek. At dawn the camper heard loud bird-like calls from multiple directions, and found large grass impressions the next morning.
Frightening encounter experienced on family property outside Naples
Three people spending the night in a trailer heard distant howling that grew closer and seemed to come from more than one direction, and they called back. Small stones were thrown toward them, and they heard stomping, grunting, knocking, movement in brush close by, and trees breaking. They retreated into a bedroom where screaming, walking, and contact with the outside of the trailer continued for about an hour while one of them looked through window blinds and was left frightened.

The witness and two young relatives drove up a mountain logging road to look for sasquatch sign. After stopping to make rock knocks, they heard a single knock returned from the woods below. They then found multiple stick-and-bent-tree structures described as possible nests, and the witness found and cast a large ground imprint thought to be a footprint.

The witness was walking down a woods road when three loud knocks were heard from brush to the left. The witness knocked back on a pine tree and received a two-knock reply, followed by another striking sound from the opposite side. The witness later found a wooden club and holes near a pond, and found a pile of feces on the trail when returning the next day.

During a late-season muzzleloader elk hunt the witness and a companion found a large five-toed barefoot print in semi-frozen ground. That evening while glassing a prairie they heard a loud knock from about 150 yards away.
