The witness and four companions were pausing in a hay field during a target-practice outing when the witness spotted a large dark figure rising from a blackberry patch. The figure walked across a trail, paused by a fir tree and looked toward the group, then continued into an adjacent field. The group went to the spot, found flattened brush and a bent-grass trail, estimated the figure's height against the tree, took photos, and then heard knocking beats and hooting sounds after birds flushed and dogs barked in the distance.

The witness and a companion visited Bachelor's Grove in the afternoon to check structures described in a prior report. They observed hand-made tree pyramids, an X, and an arch, heard a siren-like sound and faint mumbling voices, and saw no unknown animals. Over the next few hours they heard repeated rhythmic knocking, noticed a strong foul odor, and saw the dog become frightened and cling to them. They also noted many small snapped trees and worn foliage around the lake. They left in the afternoon feeling watched without ever seeing an animal.

The witness was deer hunting from a stand overlooking a clear-cut valley in the morning. The witness heard loud crashing and branch-breaking as a large unseen animal ran down the opposite slope, chased a deer, and killed it after the deer cried out three times. The witness could not cross the creek to investigate and later left, having earlier photographed a 20-foot tree found jammed upside-down in the ground.

The witness was fishing alone late at night near his hunting club property. Rocks began hitting the water and bank from across a flooded area about 50-60 yards away, followed by a sustained low roar that he felt vibrate. He left his gear and retreated to the lit compound, later hearing clicking like rocks banging together. About a month later he returned with a local researcher who found a pushed path through tules, a pressed circle, and a track measuring just over 16 inches.

The witness was walking down a woods road when three loud knocks were heard from brush to the left. The witness knocked back on a pine tree and received a two-knock reply, followed by another striking sound from the opposite side. The witness later found a wooden club and holes near a pond, and found a pile of feces on the trail when returning the next day.

Around midnight the witness was with two friends in a small forest near the house when they heard a large branch snap. The witness saw a tall outline about 15 to 20 feet away leaning with one arm against a tree and staring, then it turned and walked toward the road while the witness ran. Companions did not see the figure, and the next day the witness found fresh paths and broken and uprooted trees in the area.

Two companions hiking in Apalachicola National Forest stopped at a shallow brook to cool off. After leaving the water they heard rocks colliding and sticks breaking and went to investigate. They glimpsed an ape-like biped charging away through thick brush, breaking limbs and leaving a foul odor. Afterwards they noted disturbed rocks and a partial heel print that later dried out and was not photographed.
Family sees Sasquatch at window several times near Gilford
The witness reports seeing a tall hair-covered figure passing the living room picture window about once a year over several years while watching television late at night. The figure is described as walking upright past the window in one direction and sometimes returning minutes later. The witness and a companion camped beside a strip pond after fishing and cooking. Around 4 a.m. the witness awoke to heavy footsteps coming down a steep high wall to the tent, followed by heavy breathing and a throat-clear that mimicked his own. He shouted that he had a gun while his companion remained asleep, then heard the visitor drink from the water with its hands, sit briefly by the tent, and climb back up. The next morning they found 18-inch tracks at the edge of the reeds.

While scouting for deer season the witness found a large woven vegetation igloo and crawled inside. On opening morning he sat 18 feet up in a climber when something came from that area straight to his tree, sniffed deeply below him for 25-30 seconds, then walked away on two legs.

The witness and two companions were burning brush outside a cottage at night when their dog growled toward the darkness, a foul feces-like odor was present, and they heard a loud snap or crack but saw nothing in vehicle lights. They went inside for the night. The next morning they found large barefoot prints in sand behind the cottage that dwarfed an adult man's size-12 foot.
