Large creature crosses road in 1 1/2 strides
The witness and a companion were driving at night toward Pagosa Springs after watching a boxing match. About 20 yards ahead a creature crossed the county road quickly in front of them. They stopped where it crossed and saw footprints in snow on the road before driving away fast.
ATV'ers find footprints near Pt.Pleasant
While riding ATVs on private property, the witness group stopped to eat near a creek. The witness noticed several large human-like footprints beside where she sat, including one much larger than a companion's boot. The prints led toward the creek and the stride between them was too long for her to match. No camera was available to document the tracks.
Multiple observations over three year span
The witness and his wife snowshoed into their wooded farm property in winter and found two sets of large human-shaped footprints in snow. The prints were old and melted, about 15-16 inches long with about a 52-inch step, extending over 200 yards and separating then rejoining. The witness compared the alternating left-right stride to his own stride and to leaping deer tracks, concluding the stride was too long for a human and the shape differed from deer.
Footprints found in snow seen by several witnesses
The witness was called outside in January to look at large footprints in melting snow. The human-like prints with distinct toes encircled the property and overlaid the witness's own earlier footprints in the woods. The prints were described as 15 to 18 inches long with about a 3-foot stride.
Sighting of 8-foot tall, upright creature
The witness reports being at the top of a hill in a pine forest after dark while a companion was below. A very hairy creature about 8 feet tall walked in a nearly human manner while making grunting noises, noticed the witness, then left. The witness reports photographing footprints left in mud.

On the afternoon of January 5th 2001 the witness found several footprints on the edge of Yellow House Canyon near Lubbock, Texas, where the ground was flat with little vegetation and fresh snow. The witness took several photographs of the footprints. Four or five people were reported to have seen the tracks and photographs.
Daytime sighting by two witnesses, near Geneva, at the end of Timberwoods Rd
Two companions shoveling snow noticed barefoot-like prints and followed them into the woods. They watched two large greyish furry figures, one pounding and shaking a thin tree and the other digging in snow, while noticing a foul odor. The creatures vocalized and ran off when they noticed the witnesses, who briefly tried to follow before giving up.
Nighttime sighting by motorists on Hwy 87 in Jacks Canyon, 30 miles south of Winslow
On Christmas Eve 2000 two people driving toward Winslow on Highway 87 passed a tall hairy figure beside the road near Jacks Canyon. The figure was seen in the headlights from about fifteen feet away and covered its face against the glare. The driver turned around to look again, but the figure had left at high speed into a nearby canyon, leaving long barefoot tracks in snow.
Family marvels at huge barefoot tracks in snow
Two relatives of the witness found two large barefoot-like prints in fresh snow off a road near their cabin and brought the witness to see them. He compared his size 10 1/2 shoe to one print and estimated it was about 14 inches long and twice as wide, with a slight arch curve. The prints were noted as fairly far apart, and the witness questioned who would be barefoot in that isolated area.
Tracks found before Christmas, near Hendersonville
During a December 2000 snowstorm evening the witness's normally calm dog reacted intensely as if an animal was outside. About two and a half hours later the witness found a single line of very large, deep, widely spaced footprints in snow crossing the yard from one wooded area to another. The witness compared the prints to their own boot and stride and judged they were made around the time of the dog's reaction, but blowing snow had obscured detail.

Three companions hiked several miles into old-growth forest at the base of Mt. St. Helens in midday snow conditions. They reported finding twisted trees, saplings torn down and woven over a creek, and numerous large bare footprints in snow. The largest print was taped at 21 inches and dwarfed the witness's boot, but attempted photos failed due to snow glare.

The witness and a companion were hiking in woods near a creek when they heard noises and noticed footprints with pieces of wood around them. The witness then saw a hairy ape-like figure about twenty yards away. Both individuals fled and returned home, where a family member did not believe them.
November, 2000, Arkansas, Benton
Two people walking a terrier dog along the receded shoreline of a lake followed large raccoon tracks to a disturbed area in packed sandy soil. There they found two sizes of large human-like footprints intersecting the raccoon tracks, which ended at the disturbance, while the human-like tracks returned toward the tree line. The prints were much deeper than the witnesses' own impressions in the same soil. The dog behaved unusually at the site, whining and soiling the area.
Barefoot tracks and whistling heard while hunting
While elk hunting on a mountain trail in the morning, the witness found a barefoot-like print in soft dirt and followed it briefly before losing it. Shortly afterward the witness heard an unfamiliar whistling sound, then heard it again later while watching a draw for elk. The combination struck the witness as strange and unlike anything heard in decades of hunting the area.

The witness and a companion were walking along a river in the evening when they found a line of very large five-toed footprints in sand under a bridge. The prints were estimated at 11 to 14 inches long and led to the water where they could not be followed. No creature was seen.

While deer hunting, the witness found many large tracks and followed them to a hidden hillside spring in a dry area. The water was murky as if recently disturbed, and the witness also found dung with an unusual sweet smell that was collected for testing. No creature was seen, but the witness believed he had just missed it.

The witness drove to the end of a forest road and walked to the river to fish alone in the morning. After casting, he heard cracking across the river and saw bushes moving and a large brown figure without clear details. Two trees snapped and fell uphill as the figure moved upslope into dense forest, and the frightened witness left the area quickly.
Hunters find track in mountains above Falls City
The witness was scouting deer locations by vehicle with two relatives when he found a large human-like footprint at a logging-road turnaround overlooking a ravine. The relatives joined him to examine it closely and they found a coarse hair inside the print. They photographed and videotaped the print and kept the hair in a film container, but the hair was later lost while showing it to someone.

The witness was hunting elk along a ridge trail and noting elk, coyote, cougar and deer sign. About a mile from a spur road, just off the trail behind a small tree, the witness found an unusually large dark tubular scat that did not match known animals. The witness examined its size, color and contents with a stick and suggested it could possibly have come from a large primate-like animal.
Footprint found, scream heard in family corn field
Late at night the witness heard sounds from a large animal in the backyard corn garden while in the living room. The next day a large footprint was found in the garden and corn was missing from the tops of tall stalks with husks left on the ground. A photo of the track was taken.
