Possible footprint and handprint found in Plum Creek Play Meadow - Forest Preserve
The witness reports finding a single large footprint along a forest trail in a small forest preserve and photographing it in daylight in July 2008. The print was estimated at 12 inches long and compared to a men's size 12 shoe. No creature was seen. A large hand print found the following summer is treated as a separate event.

The witness spent the first night of a camping trip awake in the tent and heard about ten whoop-like vocalizations over roughly five minutes coming from higher up the mountain, with no replies heard. The next morning while hiking a narrow brush-lined trail, the witness found a single large footprint larger than a size 11.5 boot and photographed it with the boot for scale.
Possible tracks found along the Greenbelt Corridor outside Denton
Two people were kayaking on a river corridor when they hit a log jam and went ashore to go around it. While on shore they found a series of large human-like footprints they felt did not match known local animals. They photographed the tracks, later estimated at 12 inches long, and reported hearing a pig squealing near the same spot on their return.
Possible tracks found in yard north of VIan
The witness went outside and found large footprints in the yard leading from the road in front of the house to the back of the property. The witness made a cast of one print found in pea gravel. The cast measured 14 inches long by 9 inches wide and was taken to a park ranger, who said it was not a bear or other local animal.
Large, unusual footprints observed in deep snow near Bass Lake
After heavy overnight snow, the witness became stuck while driving down a two-track road toward home and continued on foot. While walking, the witness noticed a line of very large footprints in the snow extending about 100-150 feet before veering into a swamp. The prints were described as much larger than human tracks with a long stride and undisturbed snow around them. No maker of the tracks was seen.

The witness was hiking on a trail and noticed a tall structure made of bent and broken trees that he thought might be related to Sasquatch activity. He recorded video of the structure. While heading back, a relative showed him a large possible footprint in sand, which he also recorded.
Mescalero Reservation resident sees silhouetted figure swaying at window, large footprints outside house
The witness was awake in a ground-floor bedroom late at night when she heard heavy breathing and something striking the outside wall. A large dark silhouette appeared at the closed bedroom window, swaying as if trying to see inside, and remained for several minutes despite the TV volume being raised. The next morning she and her daughter found large five-toed footprints in snow by the walkway.

Four people driving logging roads found large footprints in about a foot of snow beside the road. After photographing an initial line of about six prints, they found a longer line of more than thirty prints on a landing. They concluded the prints were not human because of the large size, five toes, and long stride that the witness could not recreate.
Two hikers see an upright ape running off into the brush in Apalachicola National Forest
Two companions hiking in Apalachicola National Forest stopped at a shallow brook to cool off. After leaving the water they heard rocks colliding and sticks breaking and went to investigate. They glimpsed an ape-like biped charging away through thick brush, breaking limbs and leaving a foul odor. Afterwards they noted disturbed rocks and a partial heel print that later dried out and was not photographed.
Family sees Sasquatch at window several times near Gilford
The witness reports seeing a tall hair-covered figure passing the living room picture window about once a year over several years while watching television late at night. The figure is described as walking upright past the window in one direction and sometimes returning minutes later. The witness also reports hearing grunts, screams, footsteps and breaking limbs, and finding large unidentifiable prints in snow and broken branches in the yard.
Sasquatch meets car running along US Hwy. 219
The witness and a companion were driving south from home around 1:30 a.m. when a tall, hairy creature ran north past the passenger side of their car. They turned around in a nearby lot but did not see it again. Later they found flattened grass in long strides, possible footprints up a hill, and hair caught on a fence wire.
Couple find prints while hunting and have feeling of being watched near Rome
The witness reports repeatedly finding large barefoot-like prints in dirt along service roads and power-line trails while deer hunting in an area with lakes, creeks, and game. On one occasion a companion who was shown the prints wanted to leave quickly. The witness believes the prints are real and not a hoax and keeps the locations secret.
Scream in Ohio (2008)
The witness and three companions turned five dogs loose at night when powerful screams were directed first at the men then at the dogs. Something bipedal with heavy footsteps ran fast left to right toward the dogs, silencing them. The dogs were found wedged in a road culvert and had to be pulled out. A daylight return found a single-file running trackway down the hill.
More Tracks Found in the Big Cypress Region (w/photos)
The witness was hiking with a companion when they found two sets of unusual tracks about a mile apart. One set showed an abducted ape-like toe, while the other showed unusually splayed toe prints unlike a human print. Photos of the tracks were later shared with an investigator for review.
Multiple incidents around river slough south of Belleville
Two companions were camping by a slough around 1 a.m. when loud whooping and moaning calls were heard from about 30 feet behind them and then repeated louder and closer. Their small dog cowered in the tent and stayed silent. They fled in their vehicle leaving gear behind, and the next day found the tent open, food missing, bedding disturbed, and a large unidentified footprint nearby.

The witness was hiking in the Big Cypress Preserve when they found a single large footprint off the side of an old road or trail. They searched outward for additional tracks, then measured and photographed the impression. The witness reported feeling uneasy and looking over their shoulder while documenting it.
Bowhunter finds large barefoot prints in the snow near Drummond
While bow-hunting in fresh snow, the witness found a trail of large barefoot-like tracks and followed it about 70 yards to a thicket. After getting into a tree stand, the witness heard knocks, breaking branches, growling, huffs and moans from about 100 yards away for an hour. Becoming nervous, the witness left the area.
Possible sighting by family walking their dog near Auburn
The witness and four family members walked a trail by a lake near dusk. After moving a large branch from the path, they found wet foot-shaped prints leading uphill and saw two dark human-like shapes lying still in the woods. They heard bipedal footsteps that stopped and started with them, then left and returned later to photograph and measure the prints and hear more steps and a breath-like sound.
Multiple encounters near an old strip mine just outside of Harrisville
The witness and a companion camped beside a strip pond after fishing and cooking. Around 4 a.m. the witness awoke to heavy footsteps coming down a steep high wall to the tent, followed by heavy breathing and a throat-clear that mimicked his own. He shouted that he had a gun while his companion remained asleep, then heard the visitor drink from the water with its hands, sit briefly by the tent, and climb back up. The next morning they found 18-inch tracks at the edge of the reeds.
Bigfoot spotted by driver in Cranberry River region of Monongahela National Forest
While driving home shortly after midnight, the witness encountered a hair-covered biped standing in a forest road and honked at it. The figure ran swiftly uphill along the road and then crashed through elderberry bushes and disappeared downslope. The next day the witness found prints in muddy holes in the road and broken bushes at the exit point.
