On a family camping trip a year after the first sighting, the witness stopped for a large ball of hair lying in the road. The mass included very long strands up to twenty inches in several colors mixed within single locks. He kept the hair for testing and ruled out horse or human origin in his own judgment.

Four men camped at a remote primitive site in rain and walked a forest road at night. Later back home they found a van vent window broken with glass on roof and gear, plus a large handprint with visible dermal ridges on rear glass that dwarfed a man's hand. Nothing was taken from the locked van, and they believed something approached while they were away.

The witness was camping overnight with friends in the Mount Baker National Forest near the river. Between 2 and 3 a.m. she heard movement approach her tent and brush against it, while a companion in a truck reportedly felt a nudge and saw a fleeting shadow. While working as night watchmen at a logging site, the female witness walked back from checking equipment at dusk and heard a snorkeling sound by the creek. She saw a large fur-covered creature on its knees drinking, which then stood up very tall and stepped over a stump. She ran screaming toward the trailer while the creature also screamed, and her companion heard it screaming and breaking trees as it moved away.
17-18 inch tracks in the mud
The witness was hiking in a remote, semi-hilly wooded area when they came across large tracks in mud estimated at about 17-18 inches. They also noticed a strong unpleasant odor and found a pile of long dark brown fur on the ground near a tree. No creature itself was reported as seen.

The witness drove to rented pasture to check fences where cattle had been getting out. He found a large tree knocked through the fence with strange hair on the wire, moved the tree and repaired the fence, then found very large fresh footprints in mud near a creek. He heard a grunt near the repair site and later a high-pitched scream from the same direction, found items tossed from his truck bed, then left and did not return.

During a deer-hunting drive in foggy woods, the witness and his father found large bipedal tracks over their tire marks and concluded a bear could not have made them. As they circled back, an unseen animal tracked them, producing a strong foul odor and a high-pitched squeal before thrashing off toward the mother waiting at the truck. They later found uprooted small trees, additional tracks in camp, hair on fencing, and a woody debris structure, and heard screaming and a howl that prompted a relative to leave camp.

Overnight at a cabin, the wife noticed a strong odor, heard a metallic bang on the back porch and crunching footsteps moving toward the driveway. She woke her husband, who went outside with a flashlight and found a strong smell and large man-like footprints where frozen food stored under a wash tub had been disturbed. Investigators visited a week later, examined remaining tracks, took photographs and measurements, and collected hair.
