The witness found all chickens missing from the coop, which was covered in feathers but had no bodies or blood. While searching the property near the creek, the witness discovered a very large footprint and photographed and measured it. An investigator later found additional prints in the same area.

The witness discovered a track way in fresh snow in the early morning after a heavy overnight snowfall, noting it had not been present the day before. During an overnight fishing trip the witness and his girlfriend were sleeping in a parked vehicle near a cabin when they noticed a tall hair-covered figure standing at the tree line and two smaller crouched figures near a truck. A companion reported something running across the road as they drove, and later the group heard commotion near the lake.

The witness noticed a large dark hairy figure crawling low across the field dragging its rear legs and using its long arms. The witness left her remote cabin in the evening to go to the outhouse when her guard dog hid under the cabin and she heard something large crashing through nearby alders. She went back inside to get her husband, who also heard crashing through the trees. The next morning they found alders snapped off about four feet up along a flattened trail but found no tracks.
