Several tracks found near County dump for Bandon
The witness explored a clearcut in Coos County Forest looking for hiking routes and found a bare footprint larger than his boot with visible toes. After rain washed the area, he returned and found additional larger and smaller impressions with a roughly six-foot stride, and later found similar long impressions on harder ground nearby. On a return visit he also heard repeated short whistle-like sounds receding from the creek area but saw no source.

Sometime after the nighttime sounds, the witness and a friend saw a non-bear creature in an alder thicket where foul-smelling feces with shells and seeds were later found without tracks.
