Possible trackway found and photographed 50 miles NE of Pittsburgh
Shortly after dawn the witness noticed a strange human-like trackway in the snow near the house while watching the dog. After daylight he inspected the prints and found dozens in a straight line between houses with a long step and no shoe tread. He photographed the tracks with his phone. The trackway appeared to have been made overnight and led from a neighboring field to the road.

The witness discovered a track way in fresh snow in the early morning after a heavy overnight snowfall, noting it had not been present the day before. The witness was sitting alone in a deer stand in very dark, rainy conditions before dawn when a musky odor was present. He heard a whistle followed by repeated whooping from different directions, along with slow walking sounds and large branches breaking, which faded after several minutes. He stayed in the stand and noticed the odor was gone after sunrise.

After an overnight snowfall, the witness noticed large tracks in the snow beside the house from a window, then later found they continued across the front yard into the woods. The trackway was described as bipedal with a long stride of about five feet and no sign of pausing. Two brothers were sitting by a campfire in front of their hunting cabin at night when they heard loud screaming and branches breaking about 25-30 yards away in thick woods. After lasting from about 30 seconds to several minutes they retreated to the cabin and their father came outside and also heard the sounds. The source stayed in the woods just outside the cabin floodlights, and deep grunting or breathing was heard after the thrashing stopped.

The witness was called outside in January to look at large footprints in melting snow. The human-like prints with distinct toes encircled the property and overlaid the witness's own earlier footprints in the woods. The prints were described as 15 to 18 inches long with about a 3-foot stride.

Early one snowy morning a driver encountered a line of large human-like footprints crossing a road. Later that morning the witness and several neighbors inspected the trackway, which led from a field through yards, past rabbit hutches and a house, and on toward a field and wooded river hills. The prints in snow measured about 16 inches long with a stride of about 4 feet, and the witness made a tracing of the best-preserved print. The cause of the tracks was unknown to the witness and neighbors.

While deer hunting alone in a snow-covered valley in 1993, the witness heard a deep repeated belch-like sound approach rapidly to the ridge above him. At dusk the sound stopped and something unseen in the treeline broke branches and moved back and forth for about ten minutes while the witness waited with a rifle. The witness then hiked out to his father, who said he had also heard the distant sound, and the party left for the vehicle.

The witness was lying in bed trying to sleep in a cabin bedroom when heavy stomping sounds passed by the window. By moonlight through a curtained window, the witness saw a tall shadowy figure with a large head and broad shoulders moving slowly past. The next morning the witness found a single very large footprint in dirt and grass on the otherwise clean porch where the figure had passed.
