The witness was camping alone overnight in the campground. Around 3:30 a.m. the witness heard three deep loud vocalizations followed by a tree-knock sound. Afterward the witness found a partial handprint on the car door in a spot not normally touched.

A couple sleeping in their parked SUV at a logging-road campsite were awakened around 2:30 a.m. when the wife felt a firm touch on her leg through a partially open rear window and then heard light footfalls moving away. Neither witness saw anything when listening and peeking out. In the morning they found very large muddy fingerprints on the vehicle near the window.

On June 20, 2004 around 2 a.m., the witness was watching TV at home when she noticed a large dark shadow looking in through full-length windows facing the woods. The shape moved when she turned off the TV, and she remained in the recliner overnight. The next morning she found two very large hand-like prints on the glass that she judged to be non-human based on her fingerprint training.
Several sets of tracks found near Skookum Meadows
The witness spent the early morning driving back roads around Skookum Meadows to revisit prior sites and scout for future investigation. While traveling, the witness found a buttock-like skid mark with possible handprints and three large bare-foot-like impressions, plus additional large human-shaped tracks near a broken natural bee hive and behind roadside fir trees. The witness photographed the findings and made a cast of one track.

The witness and a relative found four large footprints and one large handprint in a single line on a steep bank beside a logging road. The prints were estimated to span 15-20 feet and were left in loose wash material. The next morning they marked the prints with taped sticks and filmed them with a video camera.

The witness and a relative were walking in a meadow below ranch buildings around dusk when they heard a prolonged loud screaming vocalization from nearby trees and heard movement circling the meadow. They retreated to ranch buildings and continued hearing vocalizations around the ranch overnight. The next day they found no tracks on frozen ground but found a large handprint with long fingers on a food storeroom door.

While fishing from a jon boat, the witness and companion heard something crashing through the woods and saw a tall, reddish-brown hair-covered creature watching them from behind bushes. They paddled to their campsite across the river while the creature paced the opposite bank, with footsteps and breaking limbs heard. After an overnight splash and sounds of it leaving, they found hand and finger marks where it had climbed the muddy bank.

The witness and a companion drove to a picnic area in a forested area at dusk to relax after bowling. While outside the car the witness heard loud heavy strides coming up the hillside, followed by a low growl-like sound, prompting both to get in the car to leave. As they drove away something thumped against the car. Later under bright lights they found large handprints in the dust on the roof, side panel and door.

The witness's brother spent the night alone in a camper parked in the driveway. Around 1:30 a.m. he watched a shadow move across the curtained window and translucent roof, apparently cast by a neighbor's porch light, as something slowly circled the camper while lightly tapping its sides. The next morning the family found fingerprint smudges, a large handprint, and large toeprints in spilled sand.
