Two hunters experience possible sasquatch intimidation behavior near Pinckney State Recreation Area
While deer hunting in the morning, the witness and his partner were stationed a few hundred yards apart with thick cover between them. Both men heard loud whoop-like and howl-like vocalizations along with heavy bipedal-sounding footsteps and branches breaking from the cover between them. The sounds lasted about a minute and unnerved both hunters. The witness did not enter the brush and later returned without further incident.
Bare, wide footprints seen in the mud of a February thaw
While mountain biking near a creek, the witness stopped for a break and noticed bare footprints following the creek edge in soft mud. The prints showed no arch and had a wrinkled texture, which seemed odd in February cold. After later reading about a nearby sighting, the witness filed this report.
Man recalls family experiencing possible intimidation near Ann Arbor
In late July 1974 the witness walked with his parents and dog south along a trail toward thick woods. As they walked they heard loud cracks, pops and snaps from the treeline that seemed to parallel their movement, smelled rotten garbage, and the dog became fearful. Near the site of a previously found stick shelter they heard a tree snap and crash nearby, then turned back while snapping sounds seemed to follow them to the clearing.
