The witness was camping overnight with family near a reservoir when he and his companion heard repeated loud knocks like wood hitting wood from about 100 yards away for about 15 minutes as the sound moved away. He also reported distant howling that he could not confidently identify. The next morning he noticed broken logs and bent trees near the camp. His young child was asleep during the sounds and did not witness them.

They saw a large limb held straight out and striking back and forth between two close-set trees about 20 feet away. One witness glimpsed a dark unidentified shape believed to be part of a dark arm that seemed to rise from leaning over before the noise stopped and moved away behind the trees.

The witness and his family were staying in a fifth-wheel trailer with the windows open on a cool cloudy night. Around 2 a.m. the witness heard loud scream-like howls from different directions that seemed to answer each other for about ten minutes while appearing to move. The sound was described as like a cross between human and animal and unlike a cougar. They heard nothing further and afterward speculated the sound may have been Bigfoot.

The witness was night-fishing along a river trail when heavy footsteps approached on the wooded hillside. Shining a headlamp toward the sound caused it to stop, and it resumed after the light was removed. The footsteps paralleled the witness back to the parking area without ever emerging, and a search with a brighter light revealed nothing seen or smelled.

Around 11:10 p.m. the witness was awakened by something lifting and dropping the picnic table, banging a fruit bowl, circling the tent with loud heavy bipedal steps, and making human-like wailing sounds. The witness stayed inside in fear and later heard it cross the stream and climb the hill. Next morning the fruit was untouched but the table was damaged and large human-like footprints were found nearby.

Search dogs refused to approach the car, so three firefighters searched the thick woods. They found a tall hairy being leaning on a tree that stood up, looked at them with pain, then left after whoops and tree banging were heard nearby.

Late at night the witness sat by open backyard windows after turning down the TV and heard two long exhalations from just outside at head height. Frightened, the witness shouted out the window and fled to the front of the house, startling a sleeping relative and dog. The next day the witness found a large barefoot human-like footprint in soil against the house corner beneath the window.

The witness was on a solo early-morning walk by a lake and causeway when she first mistook a large dark animal for a bear. It stood up and moved with unusual fluidity, grimaced and vocalized, then retreated toward the treeline while a larger concealed animal roared, snapped trees and shook vegetation. As she backed out between granite rock piles, she saw a massive auburn-haired arm pressed flat against the rocks close to her. She eventually left the area and became physically ill from fear and adrenaline.
