Dirt bike riders hear possible knocks north of Lake Wenatchee
Four people on a dirt-bike trip stopped at a dirt-road intersection and heard knocking like someone hitting a tree. After finding no people or vehicles nearby, one witness knocked on a tree and two or three loud knocks answered within seconds. The group left immediately, and a search the next day found no trails or camps to explain the sounds.

The witness returned on a Sunday afternoon to a wooded creek confluence where large tracks had been found days earlier. While approaching, something large moved alongside through the woods breaking branches, and the witness found large footprints including a tiny print in one heel. The witness then heard a large splash in the creek followed by paired guttural growls that stopped after the witness whooped, and later described seeing a large hairy figure peeking from behind a tree across the creek.

A driver stopped for a deer sprinting across the road at sunset and then saw a tall hair-covered creature stop near the road edge before turning and walking back into pine forest. As the driver moved forward with the window down, a strong musty odor and loud deep grunts were noticed, with the creature seen about 50 feet inside the treeline. The driver then left the area.
Possible knocks and vocalizations heard from a rural home near the town of Crump
The witness reported hearing repeated unexplained sounds in the timber surrounding their home, described as knock-like thumps, whistles, stomping with stick breaks, and deep growls. Nighttime knocks occurred over about a week and a half, while afternoon growls coincided with wildlife going silent and dogs retreating to the house. Nothing was seen during these episodes.

After the leader produced knocks, responsive knocking came from timber about 50 feet away where a shadowy figure was seen, and the leader exchanged sounds with it. After a child's whoops received an immediate whoop reply nearby, two adults who stayed behind briefly heard something approach closely then step away, seeing nothing with lights. Back in camp the group saw intermittent orange eyeshine below the ridgeline, and later heard movement around camp overnight including a camper shaking.

The witness and his father were sleeping in hammocks at a secluded lake camp. Around 2 a.m. the witness woke to a putrid smell and heavy breathing beside his hammock and saw an upright hair-covered figure with long arms and a flat face staring at his father's shelter and then at him before leaving almost silently. The next morning his father thought a bear had visited, and later that day while hiking along a riverbed they smelled the same odor in dead silence and turned back, packing up early.
Camper hears Sierra-type whoops and knocking near Lost Creek Wilderness, 35mi SW of Denver
The witness was camped with two children on a ridgeline near Tarryall Reservoir. On two consecutive nights the witness heard loud deep whooping calls, first from the valley below and then much closer to camp, with wood-on-wood-like banging the first night and coyotes falling silent. On the second night the witness left the tent with a rifle and light and heard something large and heavy crashing through timber with loud footsteps, then stood guard until morning and left early without telling the children.

The witness was sleeping in a tent at a lake campground with family when she awoke to repeated patterned clacking sounds from the south. Later she felt contact through the tent fabric, felt the foot of the tent lift and settle, heard movement and more clacking from two directions, and felt unable to move or speak. She awoke again later to distant clacking, and in the morning found no sign except deer tracks with the tent still staked.

Witnesses in a newly purchased rural home surrounded by woods and swamp report repeated dusk and late-night activity. The claims include regular screaming and howling, a recurring skunky rotten odor, heavy running sounds felt on the porch, sightings of a large adult figure running and a large figure squatting or kneeling near outbuildings, and large tracks found with smaller prints nearby. Follow-up details add a frequently seen tall stocky female moving quietly, brush piles repeatedly dragged from an outbuilding to a driveway, and whoops that were reportedly answered and approached.

The witness and a companion were sleeping at home with a bedroom window open when they were awakened around 1:30 a.m. by extremely loud howls coming from outside. They heard four howls that echoed through the area with pauses between them. They later concluded the sounds were similar to a previously reported Bigfoot vocalization and possibly made by such a creature.

The witness and a friend were collecting molted eagle feathers near a swamp around sunset. They heard two very loud splashes close by that sounded like large rocks being thrown into the water. They pushed through overgrown vegetation to investigate and found a fresh path flattened through tall weeds but saw nothing. As they were leaving they heard distant chattering like talking, although they believed no one else was in the woods.

Through the night they heard return knocks, unidentified howls and loud sigh-like sounds, and a rock landed near one of them when he stepped away from the fire. In the morning they found a line of large flat footprints that they measured and cast.

The witness took children into woods behind a relative's house and heard distinct wood knocks alternating between two positions about every few minutes for an hour. After the witness made a whoop sound, knocks continued, then a nearby dog barked aggressively and a third position across the road knocked. Interpreting the pattern as an L-shaped ambush, the witness gathered the children back to the house.

The witness went outside in the afternoon to retrieve plant pots from the side of the house while a neighboring dog barked. Something unseen in dense brush thrashed vegetation, produced a loud growl, and moved away with heavy pounding steps that shook the ground and broke branches. The witness retreated to a shed and then to the house for a shotgun, and later noted a strong musky odor at the residence.
Possible daylight sighting by a couple at Geneva-on-the-Lake State Park
A family of four driving through Geneva State Park in daylight stopped after noticing a large dark bipedal figure moving through snowy woods. The figure was watched briefly for about ten seconds before disappearing. Shortly after from a nearby parking lot the adults made whoop calls and heard replies described as whoops, a scream or growl, and wood knocks, while also noticing a strong unpleasant odor.

After work the witness went to a wooded park to test camping gear and fish in the river. While fishing the witness heard loud knocking sounds, a loud moan-like wail, and a large splash from an unseen heavy object thrown into the water nearby. The witness knocked back with no reply and felt watched while returning to the vehicle, where a jogger said he had also heard the knocking.

The witness and a companion were hiking back toward their vehicle when they noticed a large deep footprint with toes in clay that they had not seen on the way out. They found several more similar tracks nearby heading downhill toward a creek. While examining the prints they heard a loud noise from a small ridge ahead.

Overnight at the camp the party heard footsteps moving in thick brush around the campsite just out of sight of the fire. On later playback something intelligent seemed to tinker with jingle bells strung on fishing line around the perimeter. The witness felt uneasy, watched, and unwilling to leave camp.
