Leaving his family on the main trail, the witness went about a mile off-trail uphill, hearing repeated hard tree knocks, cracks, a growl, and a sound like air releasing from a tire. He felt the air thicken and a barrier blocking him, then heard two powerful back-to-back knocks. Getting lost on descent, he reached a dirt area with arranged logs, twigs and a yellow rock, then heard a close hiss and growl by his ear before navigating back to voices and the trail.

A young child was left alone in a cabin with the door open on a summer day while playing on the floor. A large hairy figure appeared in the doorway, casting a shadow and emitting a strong odor, and stared for several seconds. After a whistle was heard from outside, the figure turned and ran away. The child reported the encounter to relatives shortly afterward.

On a later Broken Arrow trip with his son and friend, the witness woke to hear the friend's car door close and footsteps walk up the road for about fifteen minutes without return. In the morning the friend insisted he never left his vehicle, leaving the sounds unexplained in a place with no reason for others to be present.

During early visits to the property the witness heard rhythmic drumming at consistent volume for minutes. The sound stopped when the witness went outside to check. No passing vehicle source was apparent.

During a holiday gathering at the property, the group shone a bright light into the woods and saw multiple amber eye reflections with green eyes above that mirrored movement. Later by the fire pit they heard a loud howl, approached the tree line and heard it again from farther away. A blue light was then seen moving over the main house.
