The witness was deer hunting alone from a ground blind in northern Minnesota. A frightened doe ran into the blind and lay down behind the witness. Shortly after, two large hairy creatures appeared on either side, one stepping briefly out of a cornfield and another showing only the top of its head in brush, vocalizing and moving around before leaving, after which the deer walked away and the witness left.

During a multi-day canoe camping trip along a river, the witness and a companion chased an animal to the top of a cliff near camp. The witness collided with a large hair-covered creature and both the creature and the two companions screamed. The pair fled in panic over the cliff edge and survived the fall, while other campers heard the screams and saw the fall.

The witness was doing early-morning chores before school when a loud screeching sound drew them behind the house toward a swampy area. Near a row of trees, a large hairy creature emerged and ran away quickly and almost silently. Startled, the witness fled in the opposite direction and later told a relative who did not believe them.

A family was mushroom hunting on a logging road when the father walked ahead to check the road. Those waiting by the car heard a loud distant scream or yell and then a strong smell, froze, and quickly got in the car. The father returned quickly carrying a stick and showing fear, then drove away in reverse without discussion until miles later.

From below the rim they heard heavy thrashing and crashing that sounded bipedal and smelled an intense garbage-like odor carried on the breeze. The cousins appeared to sleep through the noise. In the morning the family broke camp early, the father suggested campers, and they never returned to the site.

The witness was walking alone through a small college forest on a trail to work on a dark winter evening. Something off the trail followed alongside her, keeping pace and making increasingly loud breaking and movement sounds, and she glimpsed a very tall blocky dark shape moving beside her while hearing breathing. She stayed on the trail with it alongside until the edge of the woods, then ran to a nearby building while it remained in the woods.

While deer hunting alone in rows of pines, the witness heard loud crashing that approached rather than retreated. After crouching to observe, the witness noticed a strong foul odor and saw a large white furry leg about twenty-five yards away. The witness remained still for about ten minutes until the sounds receded, then returned to the vehicle without mentioning the experience for years.

Through binoculars from under 200 yards away, the observer watched two dark brown female sasquatches sleeping in the open for about an hour. After waking they fed on water plants in a nearby creek for about half an hour, during which one vocalized loudly, defecated from a stump into the creek, and wiped itself. They rested again for about an hour before crossing a road and leaving into timber, with one climbing briefly into a dead yew tree and wailing.

The group fled up a steep railroad embankment, then heard something charging up behind them pushing pines aside, so they escaped down the other side through briars and vines.
