Whistle in Washington (1969)
Account
On the day of the Moon landing the guest was fishing at the same creek when whistles, rock-on-wood sounds, and tossed dirt and rocks drew his attention. A very large hairy male leaned from behind a dead snag, stood, and watched him. The guest followed briefly, saw where a rock had been pulled up and large tracks led to the creature, then watched it walk away.
