The witness was deer hunting in the morning and waiting against a tree when a nearby deer spooked. He then heard heavy breathing and saw a tall hair-covered upright creature standing a few feet behind him. He fled leaving his gun, then returned with two companions to find large three-toed tracks leading to a creek.

Two large hair-covered creatures waded across a creek into the camp, growling and grunting while going through items left out. The frightened witness hid and remained still until they left the way they came, after which the raccoons returned.

The witness was baiting coon traps on a powerline edge after dark when he heard something approaching in the woods. The source stayed about 10 yards inside the treeline pacing back and forth and did not emerge. When the witness shone a flashlight toward the sounds he could see nothing for undergrowth, heard whooping, and the source ran off.

The witness was sitting in a deer stand on hunting land when dogs ran through the woods and rolled in dirt at a fence corner. After getting down to chase the dogs off, the witness smelled a musky sour odor like a dead animal. A deep long growl then came from the woods across the powerline about 50 yards away, prompting the witness to back away and run to the truck.

A law-enforcement friend working a remote gold claim heard screams unlike anything known while working a deep pool under a rock overhang. While underwater on the dredge a basketball-sized boulder sailed about thirty feet out from the ledge and hit the water. No other people had been seen for days.

The witness's father was walking down a trail at night when he saw a large shadow standing in the middle of the trail. It made a loud noise twice that shook him inside. Though armed and experienced outdoors, he turned and ran.

The next night there was a massive tree knock with a reply about a hundred yards away. On a night hike the witness was hit with overwhelming fear and had to use breathing to avoid running.

Later Friday night while sitting in a car facing the road, the visitor scanned the brush with starlight night vision. A large dark bipedal figure walked across the road in under five seconds where crossings had been heard the night before, then disappeared into brush. On Thursday night while three men sat by a vehicle, something crashed quickly through thick brush, flanked across the road and behind them. The witness followed the local guide into the treeline and a large log was thrown end-over-end toward them, hitting a tree. On leaving they found a log deliberately placed across the road where the thing had crossed and heard distant chatter and howls.
Howl in Texas
Sitting at camp after dark, the group heard a series of loud howl-scream-growl vocals that started hundreds of yards away and came much closer in paced intervals. The tellers said it sounded like a werewolf from a movie and unlike coyote or wolf behavior. A track was later found and cast about 100 yards from camp.
