They drove past, confirmed they had all seen something, and turned back; two of them saw it again peeking from behind the elevated tee box before it moved out of sight. They left, returned minutes later in an enclosed cart, and heard repeated creaking sounds nearby before leaving the area.

After a frozen stare the witness shut the door, heard distinct bipedal footsteps, then a fist-sized rock and a freshly ripped branch struck the camper.

They retreated to a bedroom without curtains where they heard breathing and scratching and saw a hairy hand against the window screen. They heard sloshing in the water and later saw a large figure run across the road ahead of the headlights and heard heavy steps in sagebrush. Using a spotlight they glimpsed a tall dark primate-like figure cross in front of a large boulder and enter dense timber.

A young boy resting in the upper bunk of a small cabin heard a strange animal-like call followed by footsteps and rustling outside. When he looked through the open shutter window he saw a dark, very hairy face with glowing eyes staring in, which fled when he screamed. The family later estimated anything peering into that high window from the sloped ground would have to be about seven to eight feet tall, but they found no trace the next day.

The witness and his cousin went out to camp and target shoot in a remote snowy clearing. After a rock strike and foul odor, they entered the woods at dark and saw a large hairy upright creature showing teeth while others vocalized around them. They fired weapons while retreating to snowmobiles, the cousin ran for the truck, and the witness held position firing for an extended period before they escaped in the truck. The cousin later found the abandoned snowmobiles torn apart.
