The witness paddled a kayak in pre-dawn darkness to scout fish and noticed unnatural quiet. After daylight he smelled a horrific odor, heard a powerful scream-growl that shook vegetation, and saw a face behind a palm frond. The creature charged into the water to within about 15 feet while he held up a paddle, stared with a hostile expression, then turned and walked back to the woods.

A tall broad figure about the witness's height stood 50 to 60 feet away in profile and then turned to face the witness. He smelled a strong odor, heard movement, then entered a clearing where a large figure stood, grunted, touched his chest, looked him over, then walked past behind him. The guest, then 11, and an older friend were playing Airsoft in woods near his house. The friend pointed out a brown furry form crouched on a ridge watching them. After the guest whistled it stood to about eight feet, made a gruff noise, looked at them, then turned and walked over the ridge.

The witness climbed about 20-25 feet up a pine on a small peninsula to wait for hogs over bait at dawn. He watched a large dark female figure stalk tree to tree toward the hogs, then leap, scream, knock a hog into an oak and kill it by pounding its side. The creature carried the hog off, exchanged calls with another unseen creature, then scented, located and stared up at the witness before walking away.

The witness, a long-haul driver on a first solo delivery run, parked overnight at a brake-check pull-off. After stepping out to urinate and returning to the cab, a large tawny creature rose from behind a dumpster and stared from a few feet away, making aggressive faces and growling sounds. A second female-looking creature carrying small animals then emerged without acknowledging the witness, after which both left quickly and the witness drove away.

The guest and his wife were sitting in a borrowed van in the driveway late at night when the wife saw someone run past and a loud whoop and growling started beside the van. The creature shook the van and was lit by brake lights, then the father fired a shotgun from the porch and it leapt across the driveway into the woods. Later that night rocks were thrown at the trailer damaging a fan and siding, and next morning bent van metal, foot impressions, feathers and a missing chicken were found.

The creature reappeared, swayed and made clicking mouth sounds, then leapt about twenty feet and ran away on all fours for several hundred yards in seconds.

They stopped and saw two large upright hairy human-like creatures facing each other below the trail, one gesturing and vocalizing while the other listened. The being vocalized, stared, then ran away extremely fast, after which the witness drove home and told his grandmother, who called it a wild man and advised leaving it alone.

He heard a whooping sound from the woods, then a huge hairy figure stepped sideways out of the playhouse, grunted, and quickly went over the fence. He told his parents he saw a monster but they dismissed it as a nightmare.
