The witness was lying in bed in an off-grid camper when surrounding animal sounds went silent. Over about an hour the witness heard a single knock, shed creaking as if pushed, rustling and footsteps on gravel, a possible growl and chewing, and a single whoop with no reply. The next day the witness found a large footprint in the gravel near where the sounds originated and photographed it with a tape measure.

He said he pursued to high ground and aimed through his rifle scope, but branches fell near him and loud movement approached from both sides, prompting him to retreat and later fire toward the hollow. On a hot Memorial Weekend the witness and a friend camped in tents at an abandoned riverside campsite miles from the original area. They heard surrounding whoops, rock hits on tents, thumping from all sides, and a tree pushed over. Through the night something walked through camp, repeatedly charged the witness tent and grabbed the tent floor, showing large knuckled hands. They left at dawn.

Through the night they heard whistles, a deep growl, a piercing scream and bipedal footsteps, saw a small figure peering from behind vegetation, and had a heavy log thrown into their fire pit. After firing a shotgun blast they heard crashing retreat, later found the camp destroyed with a tent lodged high in trees and gear snapped apart, and were pelted with rocks while leaving the area.

Two companions camped while hunting for five days near Dillon State Park. On successive nights they heard tree knocks from multiple directions, whistles, whoops, loud yells and screams that approached the camp, growling near the camper, and banging on vehicles in a nearby junkyard. By day they found numerous large human-like footprints in a shallow spillway and on a sandy bank, which they photographed with boots for scale. They reported no visual sighting but concluded the sounds and tracks were from a large, athletic creature.

After the witness shouted, the visitor growled, walked away on two feet, and wood-on-wood knocks were heard as the odor faded. The witness left the area the next morning.

Throughout the night he heard knocks, screams, howls, voices, footsteps, rocks and twigs landing nearby, and felt his tarp, hammock lines and gear being touched. He also noted a bent-tree structure near camp the prior evening and disturbed logs and tree piles in the morning, but reported seeing no creature.

The witness and her adult son were camped overnight in tents at a lakeside site. At dusk the witness gave a loud whoop and heard a return whoop from across the lake, followed by elk bugling and a loud knock from behind camp. After going to bed, the witness felt something heavy step on the tent edge and push on her head through the fabric, then heard soft bipedal steps around camp until dawn when another knock was heard.

The witness was sleeping in a tent at a lake campground with family when she awoke to repeated patterned clacking sounds from the south. Later she felt contact through the tent fabric, felt the foot of the tent lift and settle, heard movement and more clacking from two directions, and felt unable to move or speak. She awoke again later to distant clacking, and in the morning found no sign except deer tracks with the tent still staked.
Footsteps in Arizona (2014)
Overnight at the camp the party heard footsteps moving in thick brush around the campsite just out of sight of the fire. On later playback something intelligent seemed to tinker with jingle bells strung on fishing line around the perimeter. The witness felt uneasy, watched, and unwilling to leave camp.
Wood knock in Georgia (2014)
After mapping hotspots, the witness went to Fort Mountain to try speaking aloud to Sasquatch and asking for medicine knowledge for a woman with ovarian pain. On the way back he found a large medicinal mushroom chunk sitting in the middle of the trail where it had not been. Back at his car alone in foggy darkness he heard a single loud heavy wood knock from back down the trail.

The witness was working nights hauling fluid to a containment pond near the weapons range. On one load the witness heard splashes and saw high orange-red eyeshine, then on the next load found a branch placed where the truck backs in. Shining a light revealed two tall black figures with chatter between them, and the witness left quickly.

The guest and coworkers stayed on a small island camp through the fall while building cabins. They experienced stick throwing into the water, repeated disappearance of garlic, probing trails around the cook area, chatter and a roar at night. In daylight the guest viewed a hair-covered creature squatting against a stump through a scope, then found a repeatedly used standing depression overlooking the camp.
