Youngster frightened by "monster" peeping in window
A young boy resting in the upper bunk of a small cabin heard a strange animal-like call followed by footsteps and rustling outside. When he looked through the open shutter window he saw a dark, very hairy face with glowing eyes staring in, which fled when he screamed. The family later estimated anything peering into that high window from the sloped ground would have to be about seven to eight feet tall, but they found no trace the next day.

He heard footsteps circle the cabin and then saw a very tall, dark-haired, gorilla-like figure fill the open doorway and stare in for several minutes.
