While walking back along an old logging trail around 10 a.m., the hunter saw a very large upright hairy animal step onto the trail, pause and look, then calmly walk away bipedally. The hunter ran the opposite direction, dropping gear, and later returned to find no tracks but noted a freshly broken branch.
