The guest describes ongoing strange activity in the childhood double-wide, including tall moving shadows, medium-pitched child-like laughter, cabinet doors opening and closing, footsteps and hearing his name called. Others including a relative also heard the laughter. He attributes it to the land and cave system rather than the house itself.

A black-haired being squatted in the deep hole catching and loudly eating trout, stared with dilated eyes, moved a branch for a better look, then spider-crawled out, climbed the bank, grunted, howled, and vanished toward the earlier track area.

They saw the creature several times, heard deep tracks and a powerful roar, and after a standoff it tore off the deer's back leg, threw it into the witness, and the group escorted them out to the power line.

A group armed with guns was by a cluster of ponds, one frozen with fresh footprints and broken saplings around it. After hearing a splash and grunts from an adjacent pond separated by tall grass, they approached and saw a large hairy human-like creature sitting in the water. The creature looked at them, vocalized, showed a bleeding arm injury, then stood fully upright, stepped out, paused briefly, and walked away through the grass while they watched.

They watched a black-haired creature squatting in the water grab and loudly eat raw rainbow trout, look at them with red eyeshine, move a branch with long fingers, then stand tall over a root mass. It splashed through the creek, spider-crawled, climbed the bank, gave grunts and a howl, and cut into the woods where tracks had been seen.

The witness and a friend were camped on a remote timbered property for deer hunting and listening to a football game. They repeatedly heard very heavy bipedal footsteps circling through thick brush beyond the clearing. Each time they stood and turned the radio down, the sounds stopped, resuming when they sat back down. They dismissed it at the time and never discussed it again until years later.

The witness was walking to a rural residence for a delivery when birds, horses, and deer fled from a nearby tree cluster. The witness then heard a loud deep growl rising into a scream from the trees and saw a very tall, wide, dark furry figure partly hidden in shadows moving along the tree line. Frightened, the witness ran to the truck and left. The next day the resident said strange sounds had occurred lately and warned against entering the woods alone.

Shortly after, three of them watched a thick, dark, hairy biped stride across the road and down a bank into a cornfield. They ran inside to tell a relative, who laughed. The witness was deer hunting alone from a ground blind in a remote swamp after dark. While packing up noisily, the witness heard a heavy animal running through the woods, passing about 20 yards away. The footfalls sounded rhythmic like a person running, unlike a deer. The witness never saw anything because of darkness and dense woods.

On a summer night in 1990 the witness walked up a field road near his home when he heard a loud whistle followed by screams from nearby ridges. As he fled back toward his house he heard another scream close by and was followed to the creek behind his house, where he heard heavy breathing, growling and bipedal footsteps. He fired a large amount of ammunition toward the sounds without seeing the source, then stayed inside overnight, and the next day found bullet damage to trees and a flattened depression but no blood or tracks.

The witness and two companions were fishing in a swampy wooded area from a small paddle boat when they heard loud walking in the woods. They looked toward the sound and saw an upright gray-haired entity about 70 to 80 feet away, with its lower body hidden by bushes. They estimated it stood about 7 to 8 feet tall and noted it had very large eyes.

In 1990 the witness and a companion set up in a field behind the home to hunt varmints after chickens had been killed, using a fawn distress call. While listening near dark they heard walking in the woodline about 150 meters away that sounded bipedal. After it got too dark to see, they stood up, shone a light toward the woodline and briefly glimpsed something stepping back, then heard sounds again as a deer ran very close past them.

The witness brought friends by car to the cornfield and walked with a friend atop lined hay bales toward the woods. They found something hunkered by the bales, shone a small light on it, and it stood up very tall and screamed. The witness fled, ran off the bales, severely broke an ankle, and required hospital surgery.

A week later the witness returned to the same woods with a relative and dogs. Footsteps followed them and stopped when they stopped, then something circled them whooping and making gibberish sounds while another answered from the right. Trees sounded like they were being ripped up and the dogs fled the area.

The witness joined relatives for a night coon hunt in a cornfield. He saw a tall silhouette at the woods edge that stood slumped with long arms swinging and noticed a strong rotten odor. The figure returned to the woods, gave a howl then a rising scream, and the hunting dogs abandoned the hunt and returned to the truck.

After finishing a late shift, a man walked his large dog on a different route near power lines to a road lit by a streetlight. The dog trembled as a high-pitched voice repeatedly said I want you. A small hairy erect being stepped into the light, beckoned, and the man and dog quickly left.

While family members fished a pond clear on three sides with woods rising on the fourth, a loud crashing approach came down the hill shaking trees. A cousin fishing alone on the wooded side threw down his pole, ran back screaming and shaking. The father suggested a deer feeder, but the cabin owner later said no feeder was ever there.

The witness motored by airboat at night into an oak hammock to gig frogs and stopped for coffee. After hearing tearing vegetation, ground banging and a loud shrieking scream, large clods of mud were thrown at and onto the boat. Shining a headlamp, the witness saw a huge brown-haired biped about 25 to 30 feet away pumping its arms in an aggressive display, then started the boat and fled to the middle of a nearby lake until daylight and has avoided the spot since.
