Six teenagers parked by a blocked trail in Oak Openings late at night to socialize. After a quiet period they heard approaching crunching, loud branch breaking and a massive tree snap, followed by an extremely loud prolonged female-like scream. They all fled on foot back to the car and drove away, too frightened to return.

The witness's family had moved to a remote house bordered by extensive forest. Over three consecutive nights an exchange student staying in the lower level reported a face watching him through the window while working out. The witness did not shoot, citing uncertainty about what it was.

Around 10:30 p.m., while sitting around a dim campfire, they heard a single loud rising scream lasting several seconds from across a ravine about 200 yards away. Late at night at the witness's home near dense woods, the witness was getting into a car when a noise prompted turning on the headlamps. A tall figure was seen peeking from behind a tree about 30 feet away and held eye contact for several seconds. The figure then turned and ran for several hundred feet, clearing a 5-6 foot fence without breaking stride despite fog.

A group of eight people were raccoon hunting with dogs when the dogs returned frightened with tails tucked. Shortly after starting to drive out, they saw a huge standing figure ahead of the truck estimated at 7.5 to 8 feet tall and dark in color. After backing up and later returning on foot, they found a large human-like footprint in mud in the road. They heard sticks breaking, left quickly, later returned to find the track destroyed by their vehicle, and subsequent visits produced no further sightings.

In the fall of 1994 the witness walked into the woods behind the home at night with a flashlight and shotgun to scare deer away. He shone the light on a tall, broad, fur-covered figure standing still in brush whose eyes reflected the light. The figure grunted, yelled and moved toward him, the witness fired three times at close range then fled to the house, hearing it run and give a long loud warbling yell.

The witness was riding as a front-seat passenger with two companions driving slowly on a winding park road at night with high beams on. The witness saw a large upright hair-covered being run across the road in front of the car and climb the bank into dense thickets. The driver saw movement but not details, and the occupants heard sounds of it moving upslope through leaf litter before it disappeared.

The animal then ran off bipedally with a striding gait while making a monkey-like screaming sound. The witness first thought it was a bear but concluded a bear could not run on two feet and called it bigfoot.
