Two people were night fishing from their truck beside a creek. They heard heavy-sounding bipedal-like footsteps moving on the far bank, followed by single hoot-like calls from two positions and later a loud crashing sound like a tree falling. They stayed a while longer before leaving.

Around 1 a.m. in mid-September 2017 the witness was outside at home with a small dog when a very loud scream likened to a woman in trouble was heard from the wooded hollow below the house. A larger dog in the yard reacted by immediately wanting to go inside. The witness went back inside without further investigation.

Three people visited a desolate creek location at night where rocks had been thrown the previous year. They reported rocks being thrown with increased aggression, leaving and then returning later the same night. On the return they reported hearing a roar or growl described as escalating to a scream or screech, then leaving and not returning.

Four hunters arrived in the early morning hours and hiked along a ridge toward their tree stands while hearing hooting and branch-breaking sounds following them on both sides. They then heard a very loud vocalization described as starting as a growl and turning into a scream nearby. The woods remained silent until late morning, after which they left the area.
