The witness claims a family group has visited a rural wooded property regularly for nearly two years, typically evenings to early mornings several times a week. Reported activity includes footprints, wood knocks, odors, vocalizations, trail and structure formation, and direct sightings with food exchange and close interactions. An investigator visited the densely brushed property, observed extensive trails and shelter-like spots, and interviewed the household about four to five individuals of different sizes.

The witness and three companions camped over multiple rainy nights. They heard persistent huffing and a growl, experienced silence and a sense of being watched, and reported a dark shape blocking a camper window. When leaving they later found muddy primate-like handprints high on the camper and a trailer lock twisted and broken.

The witness and a companion were at a remote camp in the evening when they heard a loud mule-like wailing scream and then saw a tall hairy creature with a relatively hairless face in a spotlight. The creature showed eye reflection, covered its eyes from the light, braced between two small trees with large hairless-palmed hands, then shambled away. The pair heard movement around camp all night and the next day found freshly twisted tree limbs nearby but no usable tracks due to dry ground.

All three heard an extremely loud scream or roar, and two of them briefly saw the creature before it was gone. The witness described feeling paralyzed or hazy while the children fled to their van. The witness was bass fishing along a lake bank when a commotion in nearby woods drew attention. A large upright apelike creature about seven to eight feet tall emerged, made whoop sounds and a low growl, snapped off a small tree and slapped the ground while staring with flexed muscles. The witness slowly backed away looking down, the animal followed a short distance then turned, paused near a bushy spot, and walked into the woods. The witness rejoined companions who laughed, and has not returned to the area.
Man recalls incident while camping as a teenager near Cedarville
Two teenagers camped on a mountain logging road were harassed by thrown sticks, loud grunting and tree-banging sounds, and a strong foul odor. When they shone a light into the woods about 25 yards away, they saw a very tall fur-covered figure that ducked behind a tree. They put out their fire and fled down the trail, saying the figure followed them most of the way back.
