As he approached a large tree, he made eye contact with a tall, muscular, hair-covered figure pressed flat against the tree with its hands on the trunk. After a stare lasting about 15 seconds, the witness rode past within a few feet, looked back, and saw the figure take one quick step and disappear into the darkness.

The witness was jogging north on a prairie trail in daylight when they saw a large furry figure walking ahead with its back to them. As they approached, the figure looked larger and hair-covered, then went around a bend near a stream and retention pond. The witness continued ahead but found no one on the trail, and on the return looked into a dark opening by a fence near the water before leaving.

After noticing a strong rotten-egg and wet-dog odor, the witness saw a large dark hair-covered figure standing by a palm 300-500 yards away and facing the road. The view lasted only a few seconds before roadside trees blocked it. After turning around and returning, the figure was gone but a strange smell lingered.

The next day the family found slide marks and a broken branch near the creek and learned another family had also seen the creature.

After rounding a bend, the witness saw a tall, dark-brown, long-haired bipedal animal running away through the forest for about 10-15 seconds. He saw a dark figure sitting with its back to him that stood up, gathered something to its chest, and quickly left into the woods. Two companions were driving west on Highway 26 after a fishing trip when they slowed near stopped cars. An ape-like creature sprang from the woods very close to their car and ran behind it across the road from north to south, moving on its knuckles with unusual quickness and nearly being hit by a following car. Other stopped drivers honked during the crossing.

In the morning the witness looked from a second-floor cabin window and saw a large brown furry figure cross a sunlit clearing behind the cabin in three long strides. The figure briefly turned its dark gray flat face toward the witness before re-entering the forest and descending toward a creek, with only the head briefly reappearing.

Two people training a hound at night saw bluish-green eyes watching them from about 40 yards away in the woods. They approached the spot, found nothing, then on returning to the road saw the eyes again along with a second taller orange-red pair. Both pairs stared without apparent fear while the dog barked, then appeared to follow the truck for about half a mile as the witnesses drove away.
