The witness became stranded alone when a car sank in soft sand on a remote forest road. While digging out the tires, the witness was struck by a thrown rock, then heard movement, footsteps and loud hissing vocalizations from the surrounding brush. A large wet adult creature and a smaller juvenile were then seen at close range crossing the road, throwing material at the car, before disappearing into the forest.

A lone hunter lying prone in a pine plantation in the early afternoon watched three tall dark figures cross about 10 yards in front of him. The figures walked upright in single file into a cypress swamp, after which loud banging sounds were heard from the swamp. The witness first assumed they were hunters in black ghillie suits but later questioned that explanation.

The witness was driving slowly at night when she saw about ten wild pigs feeding near the road and a large dark hairy figure crouched beside a boulder behind them watching the pigs. She watched it for about a minute before driving on. She turned around a few minutes later to look again, but the figure was gone.

Shortly after moving to Sarasota, the witness and his companion were followed down the beach late at night by an orange ball of light that stopped when they stopped. They drove home and a low helicopter followed them and then circled their apartment complex. They went inside and told his brother and searched local forums for similar reports.

They found a 14 to 14.5-inch track off the main trail, followed back-and-forth walking in palmettos, and the son then saw a very tall creature for four to six seconds and drew it. The witness and his son were camping in a tent near a swamp when they were awakened by a loud unusual vocalization, followed by prolonged loud whistling that seemed to circle the camp. About an hour later the witness woke again and saw an upright silhouette pass by the tent. A third companion slept through the sounds, and the group did not stay a second night.

The witness claims that while hog hunting near a roadside ditch, he saw a large brown bipedal creature crouching by the road. The creature reportedly stood, walked back and forth across the road, then crouched again before walking away on two legs toward a swamp. The encounter included heavy footsteps and a strong wild-hog-like odor and reportedly lasted about a minute.

The witness was walking his two dogs behind his house in the early evening when the dogs froze staring at the woods and then fled inside. The witness then watched what he first thought was a 3- to 4-foot stump stand up into a 7- to 8-foot hair-covered biped. The creature grunted, walked deeper into the woods with heavy steps in a zig-zag path, glanced back with a growl, and disappeared near a gas-line dirt road, leaving a wet-dog and pine-sap odor.

The witness was driving south alone at night when a large hairy biped crossed the road in front of the car in two strides and dropped into roadside bushes. The creature was described as tall and thickly built with long hair, a conical head, very long arms and very large feet, running upright without looking at the car. The witness was attending a daytime work meeting at a remote construction site southeast of Orlando when he noticed movement along a distant tree line. He watched a large hair-covered bipedal figure peek from behind trees as if observing the group, then walk away on two legs after a couple minutes. Shortly after the meeting he inspected the spot and found crushed undergrowth and a trail, estimating the figure's height at about eight feet by comparing to tree limbs. No other members of the group appeared to notice the figure.

The witness was guiding a fishing charter by boat in a remote refuge in the morning when a reddish-brown hairy biped was seen searching a sand bank. The creature approached to close range, stood erect and faced the boat for several seconds, vocalized, then left quietly into mangroves. The sighting lasted about two minutes and was watched by the guide and two clients.

The witness and a bandmate visited a woman's property after seeing her on television and camped overnight. They saw a tall black figure at the driveway and later at the firelight edge, had hickory nuts thrown uphill at them, heard limb breaking, and at about 5 a.m. something pressed down on their tent breaking a pole before running off. Similar activity recurred the next night.

He heard footsteps, a deep rumbling growl, and smelled an intensely foul odor, then sensed something following and stopping behind him. The creature crashed away through brush when lights flashed, and the witness abandoned his equipment and never returned.

Under a street light they watched a tall dark hairy biped run across the cul-de-sac without looking toward them. The group reacted with great fear, with one person running inside and the others driving away, later agreeing they had seen a bigfoot.

The witness was driving eastbound on the interstate in late morning when a large dark figure stepped out from trees beside the highway, looked toward traffic, then returned to the woods. The witness passed within about 30 feet but had only a brief view at highway speed and noted long arms, straight shaggy hair, and a slight hunch, with the face obscured by an arm. A companion in the car did not see the figure.
