The witness was bow hunting from a tree stand overlooking a pond, hollow and log road when the woods went quiet. A large dark figure walked down the opposite side of the hollow, stopped, stepped back and stared at the witness for 15-20 seconds before continuing down the ridge and disappearing. After climbing down at dark, the witness checked the spot and concluded the height over the underbrush ruled out a human, then told his son who had been hunting separately.

While hunting in southeast Idaho in fall 2016, the witness was photographing a moose through a spotting scope and whistled to make it stop. Five high-pitched whistles came in immediate response from a brush patch, which the witness believed was not the moose. The witness then saw what looked like brown eyes in the brush where the moose had put its head down, and took grainy photos that showed nothing significant.

The witness and a companion were driving on a highway in the morning when they saw a tall, dark, hairy figure walking toward them on a bluff beside the road. As they got close they could see its face and body clearly, noting it wore no clothes and had a peaked head. It looked toward their car, then turned and walked into the woods up a bank. The two occupants confirmed with each other that they had seen what they called Bigfoot.

Two people driving on a wooded highway in the late morning saw a large hair-covered creature crossing the road ahead. The creature glanced toward the vehicle and then quickly left the roadway into the surrounding woods. The witnesses filmed the spot where it vanished and later notified law enforcement.

The witness was driving in daylight fog when he saw a large dark figure standing in the road ahead. As his car approached with headlights on, the figure crossed into a grassy ditch and then into the woods about 10 feet from the road. The witness and a companion were driving south on a scenic highway in the evening, stopping for views and photos. They noticed a furry figure in tall roadside weeds ahead and continued driving toward it. As they closed to about 80-100 feet, the figure turned with a crouch, jumped up the bank using a branch, and vanished silently into the woods. They estimated its height at about 7 to 7.5 feet from weed height relative to their truck and described brown to brown-gold fur.

After an argument, the witness drove into mountains outside town to sleep in his car by a creek. While sitting in the car using his phone, he looked up and saw a large hairy biped standing with its back to him in the creek. When he turned on the headlights it dropped instantly and reappeared peering through bushes at the bank, locking eyes briefly before he reversed and fled.

Late at night the witness, his wife and his oldest son stepped onto their porch with a spotlight after their dog barked aggressively toward the trees. They observed large orange glowing eyes about eight feet off the ground behind an oak about 75 yards away for two to three minutes. When the witness shouted, the creature ran off showing its full side profile, and the family was startled by its massive size, massive arms and speed.

The witness shone a flashlight on the closest one, seeing a large squatting outline with widely spaced bright green eyeshine, then went inside and still heard movement an hour later.

The witness was driving south to check traps when he noticed a dark form in the road ahead and approached for a closer look. The form rose onto two legs, looked toward the vehicle, then took two strides west into the swamp and vanished without leaving sign or sound. Using a roadside curve sign for scale, the witness estimated its height at eight and a half to nine feet and described it as very black with long arms. He was shaken and no longer enters the woods unarmed.

The witness was looking out a window of the home when she saw a hair-covered biped in the yard about 25-30 feet away. The creature made eye contact, then moved away on two feet, crouching behind a weed-covered fence as if trying to hide before standing and running downhill out of sight. The observation lasted about two minutes around midday.

Around 5 p.m. the witness went into the yard behind his home after dogs barked and two deer ran past. About 20 feet away in swamp vegetation he saw only a long jet-black-haired arm pulling on plants. The individual gave a loud whoop that was answered from farther down the swamp. The witness briefly turned to check his house door and when he looked back the individual was gone.

The witness was standing on the deck letting the dogs out early in the morning when she heard an unfamiliar moaning sound. She then saw a large black hairy figure walk from behind a tree toward brush about 40-50 feet beyond the backyard fence before disappearing into the woods. She brought the dogs inside and secured the house. A later check of the area found nothing.

In 1998 the witness and a relative were hunting near Yellowjacket Creek and stopped on a trail to free a shoelace caught in a bike sprocket. A tall dark creature walked up the trail to within about 25 feet, then stepped behind a large maple tree and peeked from side to side. The two left the area quickly.
