The witness claims a large dark shape stood bipedally and moved with long smooth strides behind a mesquite tree, where it remained as an indistinct dark shape. No recording was made and none of the companions saw the figure.

In spring 2016 after returning home from an evening walk near his home, the witness looked back across an open field toward the woods and saw the back of a tall, broad, hair-covered upright creature standing still about 150 yards away. After a few seconds it moved quickly into the woods. He later estimated it was over seven feet tall with no visible neck and a peaked, caramel-colored head and back.

The group found distinct five-toed tracks, heard an owl-call answered oddly, heard a warning-like howl and later chatter, and saw saplings broken at angles. While forward of the group at night the witness used thermal to see a large heat mass between trees that vanished, and shortly after others in the same vicinity were growled at.

The witness and three relatives were hog hunting at night from two positions separated by several hundred yards. Around midnight they heard bipedal footsteps, grunting, whistling, whoops and reciprocal tree knocks, smelled a strong foul odor, and had small sticks thrown at their position. After a shot was fired into the ground, heavy running was heard moving toward the second position where glowing eyes were seen, and the group left around 2 a.m.

A family driving home from church at night saw a large dark hairy biped in the headlights at the roadside. The creature crossed the gravel road in two strides, cleared barbed-wire fences, and disappeared behind a tree heading east. The driver braked hard from speed about 100 yards away but lost sight of it in the darkness.

The witness was hunting in a pasture in the evening and watching deer through a rifle scope. He noticed movement and saw a large brown hair-covered biped come out of woods in a neighboring pasture and walk toward his area before disappearing into a tree line. A child riding a toy vehicle in the backyard told a relative to come see something, but a relative hurried over and the thing was already gone. The child described a tall brown hairy figure watching her, with upright hair on top of its head, taller than a parent, and said it was not a cow from a nearby pasture. The family questioned the child and believed she had seen something unusual, and she has since avoided the spot.

As she got closer it moved off the road into the ditch, then stood up from a bent-over position, lifted a leg over a log, and disappeared into the forest. Her husband later checked the crossing spot for tracks but dense pine needles and leaf litter prevented finding any sign.

On a hot afternoon while driving about 60 mph, the witness glanced over and saw a tall inky-black bulky figure stepping into thick bushes and trees by the road. Seen briefly at a diagonal for about two seconds, it looked well over six feet with a flat forehead and head pointed at the back.

After tree knocks and whoop sounds, the group saw a very tall, wide upright figure silhouetted beside a pine tree in moonlight. The witness later found large footprints at the same spot and made casts.

The witness was deer hunting from a tripod stand in late afternoon when she spotted a tall hair-covered figure crossing toward a pine thicket about 400 yards away. She viewed it through her rifle scope, saw it glance toward her, then watched it continue into the thicket. Shaken, she left the stand, her ATV stalled, she fired distress shots, and a nearby hunter helped her return to camp.
