The witness woke in the middle of the night and saw the outline of a huge figure standing on the front deck, made visible by a security light. The figure was described as much taller and broader than a tall adult relative. Too frightened to approach the window, the witness lay back down.

Late at night the witness was driving north on Harstine Island and slowed for a turn when headlights and moonlight revealed a huge upright figure in a pasture about 40 feet away. The figure looked at the car, walked parallel along the fence line, stepped over the fence, crossed the road and vanished into brush. The witness drove quickly to a campground shower and did not stay overnight, returning the next day to find the fence pushed down.

Around 6 a.m. in dim light the witness was inside her unfinished home when her two outside dogs barked toward the creek crossing on the driveway then ran back to the porch frightened. She looked from the window and saw a very tall, wide, dark hair-covered person-like figure with no apparent neck standing by a tree about 150 feet away. When it seemed to notice her it stepped behind the tree, and when she glanced away to call her husband it was gone. Later that day she and her husband found large footprints and broken branches at the location.

Late at night the witness and a companion walked to an outhouse when they heard voices that sounded like a foreign language. The witness then saw the top of a creature's head above a nearby embankment. The creatures looked over the embankment and made soft guttural sounds while looking directly at the pair, then walked away quietly talking to each other, after which the pair returned to the house.

The witness and her husband were driving back down a brushy spur road at dusk with their infant while scouting hunting areas. After the husband reported seeing something, they stopped by a blocked cat road where the witness saw a grayish-white haired mid-to-lower back and upper thighs glide into the brush. Her husband viewed from over the truck and claimed eye contact. They left immediately.

The witness and his son were walking back to the truck after deer hunting when they saw a tall hair-covered figure come out of a cedar thicket about 50 yards down their path. The figure stopped when they stopped, then stepped back into the thicket and disappeared from sight. They heard something following them and staying hidden all the way back to the truck.

The witness was deer hunting alone before dawn from a rock above a game trail. A figure approached uphill in a zigzag while making stepping sounds and low grunts and growls, then stopped a few feet away at eye level for about 20 seconds. On a Halloween night in the early 1990s, the witness was walking at the back of a large group heading to a mountain lake after a hayride. At a trail fork he saw a being crouched at the base of a tree very close to him. As he passed, the being stood to about eight feet, kept its gaze averted, and then walked silently away up the trail out of sight.

The van began rocking violently from side to side until the witness yelled, then the witness shone a flashlight outside and saw a hair-covered figure walking upright past the vehicle into the forest. A foul cesspool-like odor was noticed around the camp, and the companions said pebbles had been tossed onto their tent and something had brushed against it. The group built a fire, discussed what happened, and packed up to leave early.

A tall upright creature about 110 to 125 yards away paused leaning its forearms on a bent tree for about 45 seconds while looking back. While rounding a sharp curve in a wooded area near a creek, the witness saw a large upright creature standing in the ditch a few feet from the road and viewed its upper body eye-to-eye for a few seconds. After passing, the witness looked back and the creature was gone.

The witness and his wife camped on a ridge near the earlier spot and stayed up watching. A silent silver-white craft with an orange lower section rose from a valley below, hovered close enough to see construction details, then brightened and shot upward. Both initially pretended it had not happened before acknowledging what they saw.

On a warm dark night in late summer 1993, five people inside a relative's house saw a large furry head peer through the back-door window for a few seconds before disappearing. After going outside, the witness stepped in a large pile of fresh scat and noticed a strong unpleasant odor. Nothing else was seen or heard that night.

Two skateboarders riding ahead of their group heard a high scream then close low grunts off a paved bike trail. One crouched to look and saw a very hairy black bipedal animal crouched about 10 yards away that they had run past. The animal stood to about 6 to 7 feet tall, then ran upright into thick brush swinging its arms, moving very fast and loudly through deadfall before going silent. The pair fled to their companions and a later search of the dead brush found no tracks or sign.

The witness was looking after his girlfriend and her younger brother when the locked front door knob was jiggled. After leaving to call police from his parents’ house, he stepped outside with a flashlight and saw a tall off-white muscular human-shaped figure standing in the weedy field in moonlight. The figure vanished when he raised the light again, and he later found the weeds mashed down where it stood.
