Creature seen running and bobbing in and out of a ditch
Two people driving west toward work observed a creature moving east on the roadside, running while bobbing in and out of the ditch. They slowed for a closer look but could not identify it. They reported it was not a bear or human and was unfamiliar to them despite knowing local animals. The area was described as swampy.

In daylight the witness was walking back with his mother, two brothers, and three dogs after moving cows. The dogs yelped and ran off as something was heard running in the woods to the side. They saw a fast brown diagonal blur pass 30 to 50 feet away through redwoods without visible arm swing, and the witness judged its height by swaying branches.

In 1994 at night, the witness's former partner and her mother were driving on a country road when a big hairy bipedal figure stood up on the roadside. It ran alongside their vehicle through the ditch, then angled off, cleared a barbed wire fence, and went into thick woods.

On the second night the guest and his friend heard loud howl-screams approaching rapidly from the valley below. As they ran for the car the guest fell, was helped up, and felt a stick hit his legs while glimpsing a dark crouched shape behind him. The friend reported seeing a tall hairy man-like creature close behind, and both fled, later concluding it was a Bigfoot.

The guest was hiking alone deep into the woods on a fall day when the forest went silent. About 200 to 250 feet ahead by a power-line pole he saw a very tall red-haired human-like creature with a baboon-like face scratching its back. After it made a growl-like sound he backed away and ran once bird sounds returned.
Odor near Pike County (1994)
For six to eight months an elderly farmer and his wife reported nightly tapping that followed them room to room, shadows outside windows, a barn door torn open, missing dog food and missing outdoor dogs, and a low voice whispering the indoor dog's name. The responding deputy initially suspected neighbors, moonshiners or a grow operation, but later found a large hand-like dent in the house and an 18-inch footprint in the creek that he cast. The cast was later reported to show dermal ridges and to be considered authentic east of the Mississippi.

The guest and his father went deer hunting in Beaver Creek, separated to different fields, and the guest climbed a stand overlooking woods and a field edge. He watched a 5-6 foot black, upright creature with long arms move quietly by leaping between tree bases and walking logs. At about 75 yards it noticed him, hid behind a tree peeking at him, then used the tree for cover and disappeared, after which he climbed down and left.
Howl near Mount Laguna, California (1994)
The witness and his wife spent a weekend camping in 1994 at Laguna Mountain where the campground was empty. At night they heard wolf-like howls and the next day on a desert trail they found crossed dead trees, heard loud animal cries, and watched a distant reddish hair-covered figure standing and slamming backward into a tree, which they first took for a bear. A ranger insisted there were no wolves or bears in the area. On the second night rustling around the tent and sudden overwhelming fear caused them to abandon camp and drive home in the early morning.
Cryptid sighting near Culver, Oregon (1994)
The witness and several friends drove to the top of a desert butte late at night to continue partying. A silent light approached, hovered overhead, and shined a bright spotlight on the group, followed by several orange lights rising from the valley floor into the sky. While driving down, three of them saw a huge bipedal shape cross the road and followed it on foot, getting close enough to hear it breathing before it left silently. At sunrise the two who remained saw several tall slender gray-haired humanoids with yellow eyes peeking from cover and felt they were being escorted off the land.
Hikers observe animal in early evening near Blanca Peak
Two companions lagging behind a larger hiking group returning from a mountain lake saw a tall light-grey figure leap between trees about 30-60 yards away. The figure showed clearly visible arms and legs, moved very quickly and made no sound. The witnesses first thought it was a relative playing a trick, but found that relative already back at camp, and they ruled out deer, sheep, elk or bear. Rain that night prevented any follow-up search for tracks.
Woman recalls a nighttime sighting on Hwy. 299 near Burney
Three people in a small pickup at night on Highway 299 saw a creature in the headlights walking ahead of them up a hill. The witness described a very tall, heavy, reddish-brown ape-like animal with long straggly hair and long swaying arms that walked with bent knees, estimating it at 7 to 8 feet tall with shoulders level with a 55-mile highway sign. All three occupants were frightened.

The witness was talking on the phone in the kitchen in the afternoon and looked across the creek at a forested hillside after the dogs barked. She watched a tall, hairy, ape-like figure moving through the bushes for about two minutes while describing it to her sister on the phone. The figure then disappeared and was not seen again.

After dinner on Christmas 1993, the witness drove with two young relatives and encountered a six-foot creature illuminated by headlights while it pulled apart a rotting log. The creature stared angrily at the onlookers for about 15 seconds before walking away forcefully, climbing a hillside bench and disappearing into the trees. The group drove straight home, where the witness told the youths it had been a bear despite thinking otherwise.

The witness was riding a small motorbike at night when he heard a flopping sound and looked back. He claims a tall, hairy, upright figure was running behind the bike at about 15 mph. Frightened, he accelerated to get away.
Hunter sees creature through rifle scope
The witness was deer hunting in a thick pine area bordering a swamp in northeastern Pennsylvania in 1993 when he noticed a strong rotten smell. He then watched what he first thought was a large bear walking upright for about 200 yards and viewed it through his rifle scope, concluding it was not a bear. He described it as man-like, about 5'10", wide and stocky with a slight limp, and said he was frightened and ran away once it was out of sight.

The witness was hunting squirrels in a wooded clearing when a tall, dark, hairy figure appeared about 15 feet away. The two reportedly stared at each other for about ten seconds before the witness cocked a shotgun and the figure quickly turned and left into dense foliage. The witness was deer hunting from a tree stand at sunrise when they heard twigs snapping and then a very loud yell/scream. A dark brown figure walking upright, estimated at 6.5 to 7 feet tall, then crossed about 20 yards between two timber areas. The figure did not appear concerned by the witness's presence.

The witness was riding around late at night because they could not sleep, looking for deer. A large dark-gray upright figure on two legs crossed the road in front of them, covering the roughly 18-foot-wide road in about three long strides. The witness perceived the crossing as very quick.

The witness was staying at hosts' rural wooded property and got up around midnight to use an outdoor outhouse. Upon exiting, the witness encountered two large hominid-like creatures walking nearby on an old logging road and observed them talking, laughing, and gesturing. The creatures paused and looked toward the witness before continuing and remaining audible after passing. The witness reported the incident to the hosts immediately and found tracks with them the next morning.
Eight year old has night time encounter at grandparents' home near Woodstock
At age 8 the witness was walking at night near a relative's property, heard a stirring and then low tones, and saw a tall shadowy figure with red-glowing eyes on a steep hillside that slowly backed away uphill. Later that same evening while the family car was paused on the driveway, the witness again saw the shadow and eyes from the window. The family dismissed the account, and the witness reports occasional similar figures, eyes and sounds in the area since.
