A young girl playing in a campground baseball field noticed everyone running toward camp. She turned to find a huge gorilla-like creature two or three feet away staring down at her. She ran in a circle around it while locked on its eyes until called, then fled to camp as the creature walked back into the woods without growling or baring teeth.

When it noticed the car it stood upright and quickly left the road, climbing a steep rock wall without using its hands. The pair were frightened and drove quickly past the spot. At a Puyallup house backed by woods the guest's son was growled at, garden ornaments were taken and replaced with rocks, and wood was thrown against the house. The guest saw a tall black individual walking from her window that seemed to vanish, saw it solid twice more, and walked close to another individual holding its arms across limbs to mimic a tree before backing away.

A friend's daughter ran away and slept in her car on a dirt driveway off the same road. She heard noises, looked over the dashboard, and saw sets of eyes and silhouettes standing and squatting in trees. Nearby dogs broke out, chased, and were never seen again.
