They smelled a strong musky odor and then saw a tall, hairy biped standing about 25 yards upslope. The creature walked up and over the hill on two feet while the men felt unable to move, after which they walked back in silence to their third companion.

The pair heard movement around camp all night and the next day found freshly twisted tree limbs nearby but no usable tracks due to dry ground.

The witness arrived before dawn to hunt deer from a tree stand on a wooded base. Around sunrise a small black furry animal about three feet tall near the tree stood up on two legs, then dropped to all fours and ran toward cover, disappearing silently. The witness left the area without examining the ground and later interpreted the animal as a young Sasquatch.

The witness was driving uphill in the morning when they saw a tall dark figure crossing the road at the crest ahead, initially perceiving it as a man carrying sticks. The witness reached the spot quickly and found no one there, noting the roadside was heavily wooded with culverts. Years later the witness concluded the figure may have been a Bigfoot seen from about 200 feet away.
Footsteps in New Jersey (1995)
The witness went bow hunting alone in the early morning, climbing into a tree stand in a state park by a cornfield. The forest went silent and he heard loud bipedal footsteps approaching down the trail, then quiet movement stopping in front of his stand. He drew his bow and tapped an arrow against it, after which the creature fled very fast across the field as a tall dark shadow. He left at sunrise and says he never returned to that park.
Brief daylight sighting by hunter near Silver Creek Falls State Park
While hunting, the witness saw an elk flee followed by a large dark-brownish animal running about 50 feet beyond it at roughly 300 feet distance, observed briefly through a rifle scope. The witness later found bent grass and a single partial footprint with three toes at the base of an old tree where the animal had run. Three nearby hunters said they saw nothing.

During bow season in September 1995, the witness was riding mountain bikes with others in the Molalla River area when they smelled a strong dead-like odor. A tall dark creature then ran through the brush making very loud noise, which led the witness to believe more creatures were nearby. The witness later clarified he had fired at a shadow, not directly at the creature.

The witness was driving on a road north of the Salmon River around midnight after dropping off companions. Headlights illuminated a brown upright animal about seven feet tall standing on the road. After about ten seconds the animal jumped agilely off the road down toward the narrow river bottom.

The witness and a companion canoed to a remote shore of a lake for lunch when they heard growling and smelled a foul odor. They pushed through brush and saw a huge dark-furred biped about 20 feet away apparently feeding on a small animal. The creature stood to about 7-8 feet, looked at them, then grabbed its meal and ran off while the pair retreated to their canoes.

The guest and his girlfriend camped on a secluded Oregon beach in August 1995. Over about half an hour they watched a tall black figure pace the beach, then approach to close range where hair, massive shoulders, long arms and a gliding walk became clear. Frightened, they fled to their car, sought help at a nearby RV camp, and the next morning photographed large footprints in the sand. The guest later shared the photos with researchers and returned the next year to trace a worn trail into the forest.

Both stayed through the night without further sightings and photographed the tracks at daybreak.

While camping on a beach with a companion, the witness repeatedly watched a very large dark figure walking north and south along the sand, at times passing within tens of feet. The figure moved quickly with a smooth gliding motion while appearing bent over and ignoring the witnesses. After examining unusually deep tracks in the sand, the witness stood his ground as the figure approached within yards, saw a face and dark hair and wide shoulders, then fled to camp. The pair left equipment behind, retrieved car keys, waited overnight, and photographed tracks the next morning.

The witness was traveling by car with a companion at night when a small hairy creature crossed the road ahead of them. The creature paused in the middle of the road to look toward the vehicle, then leapt into an adjacent swamp and disappeared. It was described as about five feet tall with dark brown hair and an unusual gait that was difficult to imitate.

The witness rounded a boulder in forest highlands and came face-to-face with an unidentified standing figure about 10 feet away. The two stared briefly before the figure ran off into the woods. The witness then examined where it had stood, comparing a track to his own large foot and estimating the figure at over eight feet tall.

While looking through the windshield, the witness observed a Sasquatch cross the road quickly in front of the vehicle and disappear into brush. A television crew driving a large RV on a narrow forest road at dusk in rain spotted a figure ahead and filmed it as it walked bipedally across the road in front of them, illuminated by headlights, before disappearing behind a tree. Two witnesses ran outside to try for more footage but conditions were too dark and dense. The investigator later described the videotaped subject as a large, shaggy male figure and reported enhancements showed no sign of costume or effects.

A young child who had gone about fifty yards from the house to pick thimbleberries claimed a large white-furred creature rose up from behind the bushes within a few feet. The child observed broad shoulders, long arms at its sides, and a human-like head shape for a few seconds before running back to the house in terror. No one else saw the creature, and later searches found no tracks or hair.
