The witness reports stopping a car on a wooded road at night to urinate and seeing an animal on all fours about 40 yards away that was first mistaken for a deer. The creature then stood on two legs, made a loud unfamiliar noise, and was viewed in the headlights as tall, hair-covered, and red-eyed. After the witness honked, it reportedly screamed again and ran into the trees.

The witness followed to a hilltop to watch it walk through young trees before it disappeared into a swamp.

The witness and a relative were riding an ATV back toward camp at dusk when alerted to a figure nearby. About 50 feet away, a large dark upright figure walked parallel to them along an old fence line before turning into the woods and disappearing. The pair left quickly for camp and spent a sleepless night after the brief sighting.

The witness and son were on a trail about a quarter mile from the river and stopped so the son could tie his shoe. The witness then noticed movement 150-200 feet away by a large old redwood stump and discerned a mass with a human-like torso from the waist up, apparently scratching its back against the stump. They did not stop at the time and only focused on it after reviewing the footage, which they kept. Later review of the video found the figure extremely small in the frame and inconclusive.

Looking around, the witness saw a brown-furred biped about 100 feet away walking up a slope out of a ravine with its back turned. The creature briefly steadied itself with a hand on a tree and continued uphill without looking at the witness. Frightened, the witness finished loading quickly and left the area.

The witness woke early to use the bathroom and saw something staring through the open bedroom window while returning to the room. They observed two eyes with a reddish-orange reflection for several seconds and were too frightened to move at first. They later estimated the height at about 7.5 feet by measuring from the ground to where the top of the head would have been at the window.
