Two companions were driving home along River Road when something walked into the road ahead of them. They braked to about 25 feet away and watched a tall, hairy ape-like figure stop in the middle of the road, look toward the car, then continue across into the river where it was lost from sight. Both occupants stated they saw the same thing.

While boating toward the wide outflow area of the lake, the guest saw a very tall naked hairless figure standing in the middle. It looked at him and moved with a large hip and leg motion. He turned the boat around quickly and left while looking back.

The witness stopped and watched the figure look for traffic, cross two roads, and move across a field toward a wooded area. About twenty minutes later in a shaded, washed-out section of road, the witness mistook a large multicolored mass in a drainage ditch for a broken tree stump. The shape turned toward him in one fluid motion, revealing eyes, arms, legs and a neckless build. After about twenty seconds it jumped effortlessly up a six-foot bank and crashed away through the forest, prompting him to end the trip and hike back to his truck.

While driving and spotlighting deer, deer stared up a steep hill. The witness shone light and saw about seven feet high with red eyes wide apart. They returned slowly, deer gone, then rocks struck the back and door of the car leaving dents still present.

The guest was driving out of the mountains late at night with his then-girlfriend when headlights caught eye shine. He stopped and backed up to look again while she wanted to leave. He describes seeing only the face of an eight-foot human-like figure that looked angry.

On the last night of the trip the group did call blasting at a pullout above a steep river basin and saw eye shine moving in the trees. The witness walked to the road and stared for many minutes at two sets of almond-shaped eyes on an embankment that blinked and made a lip-blowing sound. When others returned with spotlights the figures had vanished, and the next day tracks showed where they had come up.

Coming down an eleven-mile mountain trail late and alone, the caller felt imminent death, then saw a Cherokee-appearing figure looking at him and a massive ten-foot black Bigfoot coming down the trail about forty yards behind. When they made eye contact the creature looked shocked and the dread lifted. He hiked out through silent dark [name withheld] with no insect or animal sounds.

About forty yards away a very tall hairy figure crouched holding an oak tree, then stood, grimaced showing teeth, and walked away using its long arms on trees. The witness later found fresh footprints and a snapped branch and told the group they had missed an elk.

The witness and a climbing partner stopped to swim and look at untouched cliffs. The witness noticed a human-shaped figure standing between two cedars on top of the cliff rocking side to side. They re-entered the water, then checked again and it was gone.

The witness and a companion were driving late at night near Caroga Lake when headlights revealed a large dark upright figure crossing the road ahead. The figure stepped easily over a guardrail and continued into the woods. The witnesses did not stop, feeling shaken and believing they had seen a bigfoot.

A deer hunter sat in a tree stand on a crisp clear morning while noticing a strong foul odor. While walking back along an old logging trail around 10 a.m., the hunter saw a very large upright hairy animal step onto the trail, pause and look, then calmly walk away bipedally. The hunter ran the opposite direction, dropping gear, and later returned to find no tracks but noted a freshly broken branch.

Around 2 a.m. the witness sat in a car on a road across from a state park when an entity with long arms and reddish-appearing hair walked up the roadside, crossed the street and yards, and entered the woods under a streetlight. An outdoor dog that normally barked remained silent. About two hours later a sheriff drove up and down the road shining a spotlight, which the witness speculated was a search after someone else reported something.

The witness was driving alone southeast on US Highway 441 between Ft. Drum and Okeechobee around dusk. A small upright hair-covered creature ran across the road ahead, paused briefly at the far edge, then leapt over a roadside ditch and barbed-wire fence. The witness braked to about 20 mph at the crossing point but saw no further movement.
