Account
The witness ran ahead of a youth hiking group after hearing a loud limb snap. About forty yards away a very tall hairy figure crouched holding an oak tree, then stood, grimaced showing teeth, and walked away using its long arms on trees. The witness later found fresh footprints and a snapped branch and told the group they had missed an elk.
