As a young adult the witness went alone to a distant hollow on a relative's farm to prepare a tree stand for muzzleloader season. At daylight deer appeared, became alert, stomped, snorted and fled, then cane began swaying and a tall black bipedal creature stepped out, crossed the creek, stared, bared its teeth, tore a limb from a tree, growled and screamed. Terrified, the witness jumped from the stand, fled across hills and fields back to the farmhouse and later learned the relative called such beings by a local name and considered them territorial.

The guest and a childhood friend were driving west on Route 9 at dusk in October. A tall lanky brown-haired biped broke from brush and crossed the road right to left into woods in a couple seconds, gliding rather than bouncing. Both men were stunned and the passenger asked if it was a Bigfoot.
Night time sighting by policeman on the Trans-Canada Hwy, ~100 miles west of Cochrane
The witness was a passenger in a truck traveling on the Trans-Canada Highway at night en route to a moose-hunting trip. A tall, dark-haired biped came out of the north ditch and ran across the two-lane road in front of the vehicle, turning to look at the occupants before continuing into the ditch and treeline on the south side. The driver reacted with surprise at the time but has since said he saw nothing. The whole crossing reportedly took about 10 seconds.

The witness was driving to work in early morning darkness when a tall figure emerged from the woods onto the road, forcing the witness to stop. The figure stood in the headlights a short distance ahead while the two looked at each other for an uncertain length of time. The witness reported no sound from the figure, no fear, and described its demeanor as sad.

When the witness was eight, she followed her barking dogs from a camper toward a fawn and encountered a tall, smelly, reddish creature. The creature looked at her, stepped over a tall fence while the fawn ran underneath, and did not catch the fawn. She was left in shock and unable to speak, and later drew the figure for her father.
Recollection of a possible road crossing at dusk near Roscommon
Two occupants driving south in a truck at dusk saw a tall hair-covered figure cross the road in a wooded area. The figure moved upright from west to east with swinging arms while slightly hunched. The witnesses slowed near the crossing spot but were too unnerved to get out and investigate.

The witness was driving south at night when headlights revealed eyes beside the road. As the vehicle slowed to a crawl, the witness saw a tall, hairy man-like figure by a large tree watching the vehicle as if waiting to cross. The sighting lasted about 15 seconds and the witness continued driving without turning back.

He approached the crossing point and saw a gorilla-like face peering from behind a cedar tree about 30 feet away. The guest's father arrived late to a spring site after fixing a vehicle and walked up on a sasquatch, capturing it on video. The father believed there were two adults, later understood as an adult with a juvenile, and heard aggressive vocalizations. He hid under exposed tree roots and later crawled out through a ditch before driving home.

At one bend he stopped and watched a large dark figure standing on a rise about 80 feet away for several minutes, unable to see its face in the shade. They noticed a tall dark upright figure standing by a tree watching the children, then hurried into the van and drove away. The witness was jogging on a dirt road while two companions rode bicycles. They approached an upright figure first mistaken for a person in a bulky coat. At close range the figure turned to look at them and then walked toward them, prompting the group to turn and leave. The witness described it as a tall, powerfully built, red-haired entity with a dark hairless face.
A sighting by two motorists
The witness and a companion were driving home from a fishing trip when a deer ran across the road and they stopped. The witness then noticed a large dark animal on the passenger side of the road that stayed motionless for a long time while being observed. It eventually jumped over a guardrail and disappeared down a brushy embankment while continuing to watch them.
Two incidents with two witnesses on Kinchafoonee Creek
Five teenagers were standing in a dark driveway at a friend's house at night when a tall hair-covered biped came from the creek side and walked under a yard light around the house. The witness described it as at least eight feet tall with very wide shoulders, walking upright with a shoulder stoop. The group watched it peer in windows on the side of the house before it disappeared into darkness, then fled to a truck.

While driving slowly southbound above the river in the early morning, the witness noticed a reddish-brown human-like figure walking away from the water across a rocky sandbar toward the forest. The figure was described as very husky, walking slowly with swinging arms and a human-type gait. After driving on, the witness's wife and daughter each said they had seen the same figure.
Noon sighting by fisherman, on the shore of the Churchill River
Around noon the witness was fishing alone from a boat after landing a large pike when he felt watched. He turned to see a tall, upright, hair-covered animal standing on the shore 70 to 100 yards away looking at him. After brief eye contact the animal turned and walked into the forest like a man, frightening the witness who then returned to camp.
