Sasquatch sighting near Woodbury, Tennessee (1992)
Account
As a young adult the witness went alone to a distant hollow on a relative's farm to prepare a tree stand for muzzleloader season. At daylight deer appeared, became alert, stomped, snorted and fled, then cane began swaying and a tall black bipedal creature stepped out, crossed the creek, stared, bared its teeth, tore a limb from a tree, growled and screamed. Terrified, the witness jumped from the stand, fled across hills and fields back to the farmhouse and later learned the relative called such beings by a local name and considered them territorial.
