He saw a greyish-brown form lying on its belly about twelve feet away, with legs behind, arms in front, a large torso and a head. The form raised on one arm and turned its upper body to look at him, and after staring briefly the witness felt compelled to leave the woods.

At first mistaking it for a very large man on a road, he realized it was far taller than a human with long strides and brown coloration. The figure appeared to turn toward him, then returned into the treeline. He later crossed to the spot and found no road, only uneven ground and a steep draw beyond.

Two tractor-trailer drivers claim they saw a bulky brown-haired creature while driving westbound over a bridge in the afternoon. The creature was on dry rocky ground beside shallow water below the bridge, described as walking like a person. The witnesses described long groomed hair over the whole body, unusually long arms, and massive feet and ankles during the brief high-speed pass.

Early one morning the witness was driving east on Highway 67 after stopping to pick up a newspaper. In the headlights a large black biped ran from the north side of the road across in front of the vehicle and up an incline to the south. The witness described it moving very fast on two legs and glancing back over a hunched shoulder while maintaining eye contact. The witness stated it did not look like a known four-legged animal and was left frightened.

Through binoculars he then watched it walk downhill on two legs for at least 40 yards before it noticed him, looked at him, and left quickly without running.

The witness was washing in a creek while camping when the dog became alarmed and stared downwind. The witness then saw a large black-covered creature emerge from the woods downstream and stop at the river bank. After watching briefly while staying out of sight, the witness retreated upstream, returned to camp, and left the area with a companion. The next night, reading a newspaper account of local all-black bigfoot sightings led the witness to consider the creature as possibly a bigfoot.

Around midday the witness went to check on barking dogs in a pen behind the home. There he encountered a tall, hair-covered figure pulling at the pen wire, which turned to face him before fleeing toward the forest. A relative who ran outside also saw the figure running away. No physical evidence remained the next day after an overnight thunderstorm.

From an overlook the witness watched three hikers with a dog on the trail below through binoculars and noticed a large black bipedal figure moving ahead of them through the adjacent meadow. The figure moved much faster than the hikers, away from them, jumped the creek, and disappeared into trees on the far side of the valley after about five minutes. The witness judged it much larger than a man and stated it was not a bear, and believed the hikers never saw it.
