They found two barefoot-like prints beside deer tracks at the spot, but rain covered them before photos could be taken.

The group went to the spot, found flattened brush and a bent-grass trail, estimated the figure's height against the tree, took photos, and then heard knocking beats and hooting sounds after birds flushed and dogs barked in the distance.

Around 1-2 a.m. the witness went to retrieve bags from a car near a carport and heard a snorting grunt. Backlit by a carport light, he saw a large wide shape that vocalized again, circled with him as he retrieved a rifle, then left toward the woods. After calling for help, the witness with two relatives found footprints along the road and photographed them. They found a 14 to 14.5-inch track off the main trail, followed back-and-forth walking in palmettos, and the son then saw a very tall creature for four to six seconds and drew it. The witness reported walking back along a trail after making calls with no response when he found a very large footprint and a scat pile containing vegetation and shell fragments. Moments later he saw a very tall, heavily built, dark brownish creature about 70-80 feet away that had been digging at a ground hornet nest. The creature then ran rapidly down one ridge and up another at a speed the witness felt could not be matched, and disappeared. The witness then collected his things and left for his car.

A strong odor was noticed and large footprints were found the next day.

An investigator visited the densely brushed property, observed extensive trails and shelter-like spots, and interviewed the household about four to five individuals of different sizes.

After leaving food that disappeared and finding faint prints on a sandbar, the witness found a finger-drawn marking with a bent stick and used a compass bearing to locate a distant area. There he cast a long trail of large prints in mud that he felt matched the earlier casts in size and shape. While hiking in that second area he saw a thin, bright orange creature from the chest up cross a closed road and run smoothly without head bob.

At dawn the camper heard loud bird-like calls from multiple directions, and found large grass impressions the next morning.

Late at night at a yurt near a creek, the witness stepped outside and heard loud hooting/howling from across the creek. The sound was heard two more times from inside the yurt, and later the witness saw a faint outline duck behind trees on the hillside. The next morning a partial muddy footprint with hairs was found leading toward the yurt door.

The witness was carrying garbage out to the can when she noticed a large hair-covered creature standing behind her pickup truck watching her. They described its size, build, hair, and facial features in detail.
