The witness went alone to hunt rabbits along a flood-control dike in the early morning, then hid to wait for doves. He heard splashing to the south and watched a distant creature standing in the stream, splashing water and briefly rising on two legs to look and smell before resuming splashing. He tried to approach from downwind via the north and a cliff overlook, but the creature was gone when he arrived.

A dark brown, hairy animal described as 7 feet tall and beefy was seen about 30 feet away in the headlights near a drainage ditch in harvested farmland. The witness and the witness's father drove to a mountain quarry to sleep in their vehicle for a morning deer hunt. In the middle of the night something slammed the side of the heavy truck and rocked it violently. The father rushed to the driver's seat and drove fast for about 100 miles to the next town, later saying only that a face had looked through the truck window.

The group noticed many large footprints in sand along a small river leading uphill toward the forest. They then heard a noise from the ridge across the river and briefly saw a large creature moving bipedally over the ridge out of sight, after which they got back in the vehicle and left.

He shouted twice; it turned its whole upper body to look at him once, then kept walking. He watched for about 15 minutes until it disappeared, speculating it had been lying down before standing up.

At close range the witness noted long dark hair and watched it grasp separate tree branches with both hands to climb an embankment. They heard repeated grunting and growling from an oak tree with a thrashing limb, then watched a large hairy biped drop into a ditch and run through the car's high-beam illumination. It leapt off the bridge bank out of sight while its footsteps were heard continuing south, after which the group fled in the car.

The witness was visiting relatives in Arkansas in the summer and was walking across the road to a friend's house around 8 a.m. when he noticed a very tall silvery-white figure walking along a fence line from one tree line to another. He crouched behind a stump and watched for about 15-20 seconds as it continued out of sight without looking toward him. He later estimated its height at 8-10 feet using the 4-foot fence as reference, describing it as slender and upright.
