While looking through the windshield, the witness observed a Sasquatch cross the road quickly in front of the vehicle and disappear into brush. A television crew driving a large RV on a narrow forest road at dusk in rain spotted a figure ahead and filmed it as it walked bipedally across the road in front of them, illuminated by headlights, before disappearing behind a tree. Two witnesses ran outside to try for more footage but conditions were too dark and dense. The investigator later described the videotaped subject as a large, shaggy male figure and reported enhancements showed no sign of costume or effects.

A young child who had gone about fifty yards from the house to pick thimbleberries claimed a large white-furred creature rose up from behind the bushes within a few feet. The witness was near a sewage stream off the freeway at midnight under street lights. From 100-200 feet away the witness watched a large white hairy entity about seven feet tall with a dome-shaped head bob and move between locations while apparently looking toward the witness. A dog present only sniffed the air and no tracks were found.

Around 1 a.m. while sitting by a campfire, the witness heard a loud stick snap and shone a penlight toward the sound. The light revealed one then two glowing eyes behind a tree about 30 feet away, which then moved downhill while shifting from about eight feet high to the ground without making sound. The witness retreated to a companion's tent for the night and the next day estimated the source at at least 7-8 feet tall but found no tracks.

The witness and two companions were night-hiking on railroad tracks beside a swamp when they heard a distant high scream and later a much louder close roar. A very large two-legged silhouette with swinging arms and a massive torso then charged through the swamp water toward them. The group fled back toward their car and saw the figure stop at the swamp edge and not follow onto the tracks.

Late at night on Piety Island, while lying by a dying fire with a dog, the witness heard a loud stick break and saw a single glowing eye behind a tree ten feet behind camp. Stepping across the fire he saw both eyes and the outline of a massive nine to ten foot bigfoot that squatted with hands on the ground. It then moved downhill alternating [name withheld] and squatting while watching him before disappearing, prompting him to dive into his tent.

The witness had walked up a small stream off the road while panning for gold with a companion and stopped to rest on a log over the water. After smelling a musty odor, the witness turned and watched a brown-and-black figure about 6-7 feet tall with long arms step across an 8-foot-wide stream. The witness chambered a round in a sidearm, waited briefly without further sight or sound, then returned through brush to the road and told the companion.

The witness reported a dark figure between the rails, and after the whistle was blown the tall hairy figure with long arms stood up and ran on two legs into trees and brush with arms swinging. The crew looked into the cover where it went but could not see it again.

The witness was waiting alone on a camp trail after a companion left to retrieve an item. A large hairy figure appeared about 50 feet away by a tree, made eye contact for a few seconds, then stepped behind the tree and ran away out of sight while making heavy footsteps and branch-breaking sounds. The witness then ran back toward camp and met the returning companion.

In 1995 the witness was riding in the backseat of a car driving home from Barrier Lake after midnight in rain and thunderstorms, watching the ditch for deer. During lightning flashes the witness saw a tall, featureless black human-like figure run from a field across the ditch and road in front of the vehicle into the treeline. Only the witness and the front passenger who were watching that side saw it; the driver and others did not notice it.

Two hikers stopped on a mountain trail and watched a hair-covered human-like figure standing on the summit in daylight. After several minutes it ran straight down the steep rocky face in about 90 seconds, moving faster than a person could and appearing taller than the treeline trees. The witnesses hiked to the summit, noted the terrain seemed impassable at that speed, and later heard a companion suggest the figure was a Sasquatch.

The witness and a friend were driving slowly up a gravel mountain road at dusk toward a friend's house. They came around a curve and saw a tall, orange-haired biped standing by the roadside, which then crossed in front of the truck and ran up a steep bank with ease. The witness got out, smelled a foul odor and heard it crashing through brush uphill, and returned the next day to find no trace.

Five teenagers camped overnight under a cliff overhang in the national forest. Around midnight they heard heavy bipedal footsteps approach and stop behind a large poplar tree below the camp. Two of them used flashlights to watch red eyeshine peeking from the tree, then the creature stepped fully into view for about ten seconds before retreating behind the tree and later leaving diagonally through the hollow making huffing sounds.

Late at night the witness was driving home with an infant passenger on a wooded road with a guardrail and creek. A dark figure crouched by the guardrail stood, raised its arms, then lay down in the lane and the car drove over it. The witness left the scene out of fear, later reported hitting a bear, but no record of the call or physical trace was found the next day.

Two people driving south into Washington in the early afternoon saw a dark hair-covered animal dash across the highway from forest to forest. The witness described it as lean and long, moving partly on two legs and partly on four, with no visible pointed ears.
