The witness was staying alone in a small trailer-like Airbnb outside of town and had fallen asleep for the night. She was awakened by the bed swaying, wood creaking, a loud boom against the building and a deep low growl. She propped up, looked through a gap in the curtains and saw a large brown bipedal shape move very fast past the window with heavy footsteps, then hid under the covers in intense fear until morning without going outside to check.

During a severe nighttime windstorm with power out, the witness looked out an upstairs window toward a chicken coop and saw a tall dark bipedal figure silhouetted against the coop. The figure faced the house then turned and left quickly toward the woods. Household members downstairs and upstairs simultaneously heard guttural howl-like and whoop-like sounds with growls, and dogs barked intensely. Next morning a heavy trash bin lid was found displaced opposite the wind direction with trash bags missing and a trash trail into the woods.

A couple sitting in their off-grid cabin at night heard loud bangs on the cabin twice. The husband looked from a dark bedroom toward the lit generator shed and both saw a large reddish-brown hairy biped watching for about two minutes before it walked into the woods. The shaken couple fled with their dogs and guns, returning the next morning to estimate its height and find trampled vegetation.

After buying a large older rural house the witness and child experienced footsteps, pounding on a glass sunroom that frightened dogs, a cabinet door opening on its own with a temperature drop, and shadow figures. Once a drinking glass moved from a cabinet and shattered in another room and a dog suffered a cut on top of its paw. The witness eventually sold the property and reported no further activity after leaving.

That night both reported banging and stick impacts on their cabin lasting for hours. The next morning they reported finding large footprints and scattered sticks around the cabin.

The witness reported a loud contact against the outside garage door in the evening and overnight noises involving a storage box in the pickup truck. He reported watching three pairs of eye reflections at different heights from near the house for about an hour. The next morning he and his companion reported disturbed dew and large barefoot-like tracks in the yard.

Shortly after, both heard a very loud double whoop vocalization twice, which the husband said could not have been an owl.

A gold-tan something stood by the rear window and twice patted or palmed the car door, causing the witness to sit in the dark. For six to eight months an elderly farmer and his wife reported nightly tapping that followed them room to room, shadows outside windows, a barn door torn open, missing dog food and missing outdoor dogs, and a low voice whispering the indoor dog's name. The responding deputy initially suspected neighbors, moonshiners or a grow operation, but later found a large hand-like dent in the house and an 18-inch footprint in the creek that he cast. The cast was later reported to show dermal ridges and to be considered authentic east of the Mississippi.

The witness was looking after his girlfriend and her younger brother when the locked front door knob was jiggled. After leaving to call police from his parents’ house, he stepped outside with a flashlight and saw a tall off-white muscular human-shaped figure standing in the weedy field in moonlight. The figure vanished when he raised the light again, and he later found the weeds mashed down where it stood.

The next morning the witness, sleeping on a couch by large front windows, saw a very tall brown human-like hairy creature in the clearing outside. After watching for several minutes, the creature approached, climbed a bank, and struck the house wall hard enough to wake the companion.

The unused front door began to move and its knob turned, and three long hairy fingers with long black nails slid under the gap at the bottom for several minutes.
