The witness was outside a ranch house at night while taking a dog out. He noticed a large figure standing just beyond the tree line about 100 feet away and watched it for one to two minutes. The figure then moved quickly along the tree line and disappeared into the forest. The witness went back inside, and the next day found wind-distorted imprints in the snow in the area.

Three relatives spent Christmas night hiking and sitting in a truck on a snowy mountain. The creature came out of the woods toward the road, then turned away and went back into the woods. The driver braked and woke his passengers, but only he saw it and no one got out to look further.

After about 20 seconds the figures turned off the trail into timber, showing very long arms, and disappeared. The witness waited then rode back toward camp.

While driving south on I-95 near the South Carolina border around midnight, the witness noticed the taillights of a tractor-trailer ahead briefly go dark as if something crossed behind it. The witness slowed, straddled the center line, and turned on high beams. As the witness passed the spot, a large hairy bipedal creature was standing by the median about 10-15 feet away and took two long steps down the embankment into the median during an encounter lasting about 10 seconds.
