Close-range, 2-witness observation of a Sasquatch at 10pm outside off-grid cabin 35 crow miles due north of Coos Bay
A couple sitting in their off-grid cabin at night heard loud bangs on the cabin twice. The husband looked from a dark bedroom toward the lit generator shed and both saw a large reddish-brown hairy biped watching for about two minutes before it walked into the woods. The shaken couple fled with their dogs and guns, returning the next morning to estimate its height and find trampled vegetation.

He confronted two 8-9 foot hair-covered beings on the far side and a 4-foot juvenile trapped in the 12-foot hole, while a 10-11 foot individual flanked near his truck. After a scream-roar and standoff where he lowered his aim off the juvenile, the adults retrieved the juvenile and withdrew silently to the treeline. He packed up, later had researchers trespass after his cousin told them, filled the hole, and sold the property.

Late at night at a yurt near a creek, the witness stepped outside and heard loud hooting/howling from across the creek. The sound was heard two more times from inside the yurt, and later the witness saw a faint outline duck behind trees on the hillside. The next morning a partial muddy footprint with hairs was found leading toward the yurt door.

On the morning of October 5 2009 the witness and a companion were driving toward a hunting area when two black upright figures about seven feet tall ran across the road and into dense brush. The witness drove closer and then got out to listen but heard nothing and the figures were gone. The party left the woods that night and returned days later with a relative to find odor, snapped small trees, a possible print, and scat.

The witness greeted it, and it turned away and walked toward the field behind the house. A companion reported something running across the road as they drove, and later the group heard commotion near the lake.

While hunting, the witness saw an elk flee followed by a large dark-brownish animal running about 50 feet beyond it at roughly 300 feet distance, observed briefly through a rifle scope. The witness later found bent grass and a single partial footprint with three toes at the base of an old tree where the animal had run. Three nearby hunters said they saw nothing.

The guest and his girlfriend camped on a secluded Oregon beach in August 1995. Over about half an hour they watched a tall black figure pace the beach, then approach to close range where hair, massive shoulders, long arms and a gliding walk became clear. Frightened, they fled to their car, sought help at a nearby RV camp, and the next morning photographed large footprints in the sand. The guest later shared the photos with researchers and returned the next year to trace a worn trail into the forest.

They saw a large brown biped rise from the grass about 100 yards away and walk along the treeline, glancing at them before stepping up a bank into the forest. After waiting about 15 minutes they inspected the area and found a matted grass circle and large footprints leading away.

While staying at a farm, two children had a rock tossed at them in a clearing and were herded home by dogs. Over following months they heard screams and knocks, found a large footprint with ridges, a distressed horse, and disturbed hay resembling a nest in the barn loft. In May 1980 [name withheld] and a friend skied at night up the closed Highway 242 toward Middle Sister to claim the season's first summit entry. They were followed for hours by something screaming, breathing heavily, breaking branches and circling on two legs, forcing them to shelter in a road grader. After it left they found large human-like tracks with toes crossing a creek and in the woods, then abandoned the climb and skied out.
