The witness was night fishing from a dock when an otter nearby suddenly fled. The witness then saw a large grey shape move quickly and silently between cover, followed by a large splash near the dock. Frightened, the witness left immediately and found large four-toed footprints on a return visit the next day.

While deer hunting in late afternoon the witness heard yipping followed by whooping, yelling and loud approaching bipedal footsteps. A large dark hair-covered biped emerged from a draw about seventy yards away, walked past at an angle, then turned upslope into brush and out of view. The figure was reportedly visible for about two minutes with travel sounds heard briefly afterward, and the site was revisited the next morning for a height comparison.

The witness was driving on private land at dusk after plowing fields when a large black hairy human-like creature crossed the road less than 20 feet ahead, moving from the river side while maintaining eye contact. The witness claims to have seen a single dark biped twice, in 1992 and 2002, at the same bridge on a highway in the Chance, Alabama area. The pair returned the next morning and reported finding small and large footprints, hair on a fence, damaged fencing and poles, and a persimmon with no nearby tree.

After a rock was thrown toward the unseen sounds, something shrieked, circled the camp and emitted a loud high-pitched scream, prompting them to leave and later return with a parent. The primary witness heard noises again overnight, and the next morning the group found large footprints, hair and a bedding area before the primary witness briefly saw a tall hair-covered upright creature that looked at him and ran away.

Two coworkers driving to work encountered an upright wolf-like creature standing beside the road. It watched them as they nearly stopped beside it, then crossed behind them and ran up a steep bank. The witness later visited the site and found tracks showing it scaled a high dirt bank in two leaps.

Two women driving to work rounded a curve and saw a tall werewolf-like figure standing by a road sign staring at them. The car slid near it and it looked in at the passenger, who felt it was intensely evil. The driver then sped away. The investigator later found smashed grass and clawed toe-ball prints high on the opposite bank and estimated nine feet.

The witness was home alone in the evening watching television when a tall dark figure blocked a small window and then walked around to the back door area. He remained still on the couch and watched it look toward the woods, at the ground, and down at him through plastic-covered windows before it left. He then got a firearm and checked outside but found nothing. The next morning a large three-toed footprint was found in a dusty spot beside the trailer.
