In the early afternoon the witness parked at a powerline clearcut to watch for deer. After about ten minutes a large dark bipedal figure crossed the open area toward the treeline and stepped into the woods when the witness got out for a closer look. The witness watched from the vehicle, called someone, and recorded video on a phone. A dismantled deer carcass was found very close by.

The witness and his daughter were riding a four-wheeler through orange groves to watch pigs when they stopped to listen. They heard several loud noises likened to yelling or a panther cry, then both saw a large dark upright figure move quickly between tree rows. Frightened, they left quickly, and the witness later concluded it resembled a Sasquatch.

The witness was driving north on the highway in the afternoon when she noticed a hair-covered, human-like figure walking quickly parallel to the road in a grassy meadow near the woodline. As she pulled alongside it, the figure turned its whole body, bent its head, and walked into dense brush where it disappeared. Afterward she noticed a strong rotten-egg/sulphur odor in her car that lasted about 10 minutes.
Daylight sighting by a retired Wildlife Officer outside Ocala
The witness was driving on a wooded back road in Ocala in the early afternoon when an animal emerged from the woods and crossed the road. It initially moved on all fours, then stood and walked bipedally across the pavement before pausing at the tree line to look at the witness. The witness described a large dark-brown shaggy animal about 7 feet tall with primate-like arms and hands and no bear-like ears or muzzle, which then disappeared into the woods.

The witness and a neighbor went into the wooded area of the witness's Florida property after dark to investigate heavy footsteps in leaves and brush. The neighbor ran toward the sounds expecting a person while the witness stayed about 30 yards away. A tall figure then ran past the witness in moonlight at extraordinary speed.

In 2012 the witness took his son to Myakka State Park. They found a 14 to 14.5-inch track off the main trail, followed back-and-forth walking in palmettos, and the son then saw a very tall creature for four to six seconds and drew it. Park staff directed them to a biologist who dismissed it without viewing the drawing.

The witness was guiding a fishing charter by boat in a remote refuge in the morning when a reddish-brown hairy biped was seen searching a sand bank. The creature approached to close range, stood erect and faced the boat for several seconds, vocalized, then left quietly into mangroves. The witness was driving on Highway 19 through the Ocala National Forest in the morning when she noticed a tall hair-covered biped in a partially cleared area beside the road. The creature was described as about seven feet tall with broad shoulders and dark hair, watching her from at or partly behind a tree. After several seconds of eye contact it stepped behind the tree out of view.

While hunting small game in the morning, the witness saw a bipedal dark-haired figure run between him and a companion and stop about 50-60 yards away to look at him for roughly half a minute before leaving. He estimated it at about 7 feet tall by comparison to a nearby tree and found no tracks due to standing water, only flattened grass. After rejoining his companion about a half-mile away, they found and examined an unusually large scat pile containing berries and grass.

The witness and a relative were driving to a store after hunting when they saw a large hairy biped partly behind a scrub oak beside a curved road. The witness slowed and watched it for about 10-15 seconds from about 20-25 feet away before passing and turning around, by which time it was gone. After returning to the spot they noticed a strong foul odor and large ground impressions with flattened plants.

Two companions hiking in Apalachicola National Forest stopped at a shallow brook to cool off. After leaving the water they heard rocks colliding and sticks breaking and went to investigate. They glimpsed an ape-like biped charging away through thick brush, breaking limbs and leaving a foul odor. Afterwards they noted disturbed rocks and a partial heel print that later dried out and was not photographed.

The witness was driving at night behind another car when both vehicles stopped for a tall, dark, manlike figure crossing the road in the headlights. The figure was described as 8-9 feet tall with very long arms and a strong musk odor that lingered after it left. It reportedly broke the top off a barbed-wire fence post, went over the fence, and disappeared into the woods. The next day the witness found a broken post, bent wire, and broken brush leading into the treeline.

In spring 2006 the witness was touring a large ranch in a converted school bus with county review staff. While the bus slowed for hogs, the witness looked across a flooded pasture and saw a tall, dark-haired bipedal figure standing on a small rise about 125 to 150 yards away. The figure was visible for a few seconds before vegetation blocked the view, turning its upper body toward the bus as it passed while apparently holding something in its arms.

The witness heard surrounding animal sounds fall silent, smelled a skunk-like odor, saw a tall upright shadow on the tent wall and heard a grunt-like noise. In the morning the coolers had been ransacked, and the pair left the campground early the next night after feeling uneasy.

Late one night the witness and his father turned on yard floodlights to shoot rabbits. The witness saw a stocky fur-covered biped rise from a crouch near the treeline about 30 yards away and stride rapidly into the pine forest with its head tilted to the left. The father, facing the opposite way, only heard loud crashing exit sounds, and both later heard distant hunting dogs barking in an unusually agitated way.

In July 1974 the witness and his older cousin were staying overnight in a relative's sitting room in southern Florida. Late at night under floodlights they watched a tall hairy biped outside the picture window scream, then walk around the property while they followed it from window to window. They saw it eat a watermelon with both hands and scoop water to drink before leaving on a wooded trail.

A few nights later a loud scream and shotgun blasts came from a cattle rancher's property. While following a deputy's patrol car, the witnesses saw the creature run from the dark and be struck, stopping the car. It got up limping, struck the hood, screamed, and left toward the swamp. At the pasture the prize bull was found dead with its torso in one place and head about 100 yards away, followed by an all-night search with dogs and helicopters that found nothing.
